Problem is this isn't two wrongs. Griefing a racist isn't wrong. It's right. Two wrongs would be like if someone murdered your mom so you murdered theirs. Unlike if they tried to murder your mom, so you murdered them in defense, which would be a right and not a wrong. Two wrongs means to do something wrong to an innocent. Doing something unpleasant to someone who is unpleasant is not the same. Only way it can be wrong is if you do something to them worse than what they do. So for example killing this guy for having racist opinions would be worse than him, making it a wrong. But griefing him is actually less harmful than racism, so it's definitely a right.

i think the problem with this is it doesnt solve anything, and if anything will just cause more stubbornness in their values. i doubt after this he was like "damn maybe i shouldnt be racist" instead he probably thought "damn, gotta vet my racist friends better" ive met people like this guy, my solution wasnt to just destroy their shit and ruin their fun, it was to sit down with them and talk to them about why they felt the way they did, how strongly they felt about it etc. and ive had a ton of insightful conversations, a lot of which leave with the other person asking more questions about their views. is it going to convert everyone to not being racist? no ofcourse not, its also not going to solve anything quickly... but ive kept in touch with a few of those people, and they arent the same people i met anymore, they've grown and changed and their hatred is usually born from a lack of diversity in their circle along with racist family members... when they're as young as the guy in the video sounded, its really not that hard to talk some sense into them about this kind of thing. but doing shit like this is ONLY going to root their hatred deeper. all i have to say is, im glad your newer content is better than this...

I would a hundred percent agree with you if this whole thing didn’t seem so scripted. I think a lot of the people defending this hypothetical racist(although I don’t condone that since they genuinely seem to think it’s ok to be “funny racist” or “not that racist”) do so because of the absolute lack of evidence supporting the claim he is one. i think the problem with this is it doesnt solve anything, and if anything will just cause more stubbornness in their values. i doubt after this he was like "damn maybe i shouldnt be racist" instead he probably thought "damn, gotta vet my racist friends better"
ive met people like this guy, my solution wasnt to just destroy their shit and ruin their fun, it was to sit down with them and talk to them about why they felt the way they did, how strongly they felt about it etc. and ive had a ton of insightful conversations, a lot of which leave with the other person asking more questions about their views. is it going to convert everyone to not being racist? no ofcourse not, its also not going to solve anything quickly... but ive kept in touch with a few of those people, and they arent the same people i met anymore, they've grown and changed and their hatred is usually born from a lack of diversity in their circle along with racist family members... when they're as young as the guy in the video sounded, its really not that hard to talk some sense into them about this kind of thing. but doing shit like this is ONLY going to root their hatred deeper.
