This band has been a positive influence on me, having a mental illness myself (yes, I'm putting it out there), music for me is a huge catalyst for healing. It was Slade when I was in high school, Tarja Turunen when I was 44, and now at 55 it's Babymetal. Babymetal's music has been nothing but positive to me, it seems that they know how to put a song out there for everyone to listen to and be in a great place within their selves even if it is just a little while. Su Metal has an amazing voice and a commanding presence on stage, Moametal is a bundle of energy wrapped in the most beautiful package ever created. They are intense but at the same time they cut loose and have fun. This is a band that should be embraced, savored, heard, and enjoy, my opinion, Babymetal is so much more than the music they perform, they are the ones that heal and soothe when you truly need it 🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊🦊

So glad that you shared your experience. I've only been aware of them for several months. I wish I was a fan back when they were young. Anyways, the first time I heard "The One" I cried for at least an entire hour straight. I could feel that something inside of me, something that agonized me, was pouring out. I haven't had one bout of depression since. And depression plagued me for the last 20 years! I swear it's gone!
