Thank you for sharing your story here on TH-cam. It was extremely brave. I bought your book years ago when I was first diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. I have also been through a divorce that I did not choose. It does get better. I promise! Take care of yourself. I’m rooting for you! 💗🙏
SLEEP. ITS A VALID TARGST STARTEGY. whoever disagree is hindering an already challenging condition. A condition that requires so much management already. I appreciate your explanation and the strategies. So important of a message. For this and so many conditions.
Bextra was a silver bullet for me, I felt SO much better....was crushed when it was taken from the market because of litigation...there should be provision for patients who have been informed of any risk to have the right to continue a drug like that. It was like being let out of prison...and then being put back in again...I was quickly pulling my life together only to have the rug pulled from under me.
Did you try the drugs from the same family? Bextra had 7 deaths reported due to fatal skin reactions. There must be a safe alternative that does the same thing
Thank you so much Dr. Ginevra. I got your book couple months ago and I has helped me a great deal to manage my pain, I was losing hope to continue living with so much pain. I am taking LDN and it took me 2 years and several visits to my family doctor to prescribed it. I sent him your video of LDN and he didn't know anything of LDN for fibro. My RA doctor said, I don't need it and looked at that I was from another planet. My sleep is better since I started LDN and having a consistent sleep habits. I am eternally grateful for your dedication, your book, being so honest and kind. Not all heroes were caps...you are my heroe. Hope you are keeping well 🇵🇦🇨🇦🪷💜🙏🏽
I didn't realize that I was not sleeping good. I would have told you yes but always fatigued. Since it was my normal I didn't realize how bad it was till I did more research and then started tracking my sleep with my watch. Some nights I get NO deep sleep. But for years I have described my sleep like I jog all night. Again, since I didn't have insomnia I thought I was sleeping good🤦♀️
SO many patients tell me the same thing! And sadly many health care providers don't understand the difference between insomnia and poor quality sleep so can't really help patients improve sleep quality
@@thefibroshow No worries, I will just have to make the next one "live". BTW, do you know when you will have your next one (Book Talk)? They have been fantastic !
It is translated into German and Greek… I really hope to have it translated into Spanish and other languages but so far my publisher hasn’t wanted to do that.
Just stumbled upon your channel as someone with fibromyalgia for the lsst 3yrs or so. I found that the Carnivore diet has been the best form of treatment for me & i wanted your perspective on it? Also i live in oregon & was seeking a Carnivore specialist to work with. Do you still take patients or have a clinic of some sort & if so do you take insurance?
I’ve been experimenting with diet as well. Are you finding any changes in your cholesterol levels on the carnivore diet? I found a big difference in cutting out nightshades. Still have pain flares, but it feels more manageable.
Any thoughts on alcohol? I recently decided I should try to give it up to improve my sleep quality. I have sensitive skin and I think now +fibro my body can't handle it like it used to, leading to a lot of hot flushing even days later. Hoping alcohol is impacting this skin sensitive and therefore, sleep too.

Thank you for all the info. I take 2 Tart Cherry Capsules 30 min. before bed with my magnesium complex. I do believe it helps.
I can't believe a new video of yours actually popped up in my feed. I can't wait to watch it, fibro has destroyed my health
Video seemed to end abruptly I’m wondering if there was more that didn’t get uploaded? Thanks for doing these!
I had some technical difficulties with the recording, that’s why it ends abruptly. Sorry about that!

My rheumatologist told me about you and your book , love your book it has helped so much!
I'm so glad!
I do meditation in bed before I lie down…it helps a lot..I also have bruxum..
What is the best magnesium to take and how much? Thank you!
For sleep I like magnesium glycinate.
Thank you, Dr. Ginevra 🙏 Is your book translated into languages other than English?

Great question! Alcohol is definitely less tolerated in fibromyalgia because 1) it's pro-inflammatory and 2) negatively impacts sleep.
I generally slerp like a log, but my problem is insomnia.
Insomnia can definitely be an issue as well.
I call it sleep purgatory.
That is a perfect description!
