This song still grabs me after 50 years of listening to it. Everything about it is perfection. Bear in mind this was recorded on 24 track tape and there was not auto-tune or any other highly technical means of enhancement..you just had to be that good and Queen was/is that good. Thank you for your reaction.
You know queen started before Michael Jackson Right so by right MJ was Queen level!!! FYI : This music vid was the very first rock / Pop music video “EVER”
I've seen a lot of reactions, reviews and remarks about Bohemian Rhapsody but describing it as "diabolical" is a new one on me! The entire song was created by four individuals without the help of autotune, synths, or backup musicians & vocalists. The choral section is just the band overdubbing harmonies 180 times. The "four heads" a cappella intro was only the lead singer overdubbing each part with his voice alone. (He wrote the song.) If you want to be introduced to more actual talent, please check out Queen, "Somebody To Love" live in Montreal 1981. Peace, Love & QUEEN!
You severely limit yourself only listening to Rap. The greatest music ever recorded existed before Rap became a genre. Try the Moody Blues/Nights In White Satin 1972 Complete Album Version. You are about to begin the journey of a lifetime😮😊
I love everything Queen and/or Freddie Mercury did, but this song has ALWAYS been my favorite since it came out in 1975, not just my favorite of Queens, but of all time. I hope you’ll check more of their songs out. It’s real journey of musical enlightenment. .They were a band for over 20 years before Freddie Mercurys death at 45 in 1991. They’re still legends, and he’s the most legendary of all. RIP our dear Freddie. You did and still do make everyone happy. Rest in assurance of that.
I was around 14/15 when this song came out and I loved your reaction to it 50 years on. If you want a rare treat go watch the Green Day crowd sing Bohemian Rhapsody at the British Summer Time Festival - Hyde Park, London (July 1st, 2017). Green Day are huge Queen fans and always play the song before they come out to play. They started noticing the crowds would always sing to it so they recorded it when there was a 65,000 audience and then pinned it to their site. It'll blow you away.
More Queen. Breakthrough. White Queen (night at the Odeon). Who Wants To Live Forever (video) Now I’m Here (Wembley) Death On Two Legs( lyrics version) Don’t Stop me now(video) Live Aid ( 1985). So many more. We will follow your journey
This song was Freddie coming out to his mother. At least, that's how I see it. Freddie had an incredible range. Four Octaves. That is insane when you realize that most vocalists are lucky to have more than 2 1/2 octaves. The Guitar player Brian May holds a PHD in Astrophysics. He also built his guitar with the help of his father when he was a teenager. Which is the same guitar you see in this song. The pick ups are so unique, and that sound you hear is completely different than any other guitar out there. Freddie Mercury had a degree in graphic art and design. John Deacon has a degree in Electronics, and Roger Taylor has a bachelor's degree in biology.
Glad you are opening your mind to things other than rap. You’ll find real musicians, real singers, really great music. Not downing rap. I couldn’t do it. But it’s not real music like what you can hear. Keep going dude! So many GREAT bands to explore! I’m excited for you. ☮️❤️🎼
Have you heard of Hi Ren by an artist Ren he’s a great rapper, singer, storyteller. He has a big following that like watching folks discover his many talents ❤ best wishes
