One taste of his power with the Melu system and now I see why hes crazy good in value.
The Melu system works so perfectly it's almost like they designed each one of those servants to complement each other

I think the caveat is said Fox Girl is loyal like a Business Associate; willing to get you what you want but is also willing to throw you under the bus (And gladly) when any opportune moment arrives that benefits them
Sus disloyal moth you can trust at all times would be out for himself and for his own entertainment and probably has no qualms helping you out purely because it'd be amusing

Spend 400+ Quartz and 20+ of tickets hoping something will happen on Koyanskaya banner just to be disappointed; and later on while my hope was the lowest because I had never owned any limited support servant in my Chaldea for years, the sus mothman came to me after 10+1 singles with 3 Quartz left. Ah.
I don't get it either. I spent all my quartz from the anni for koyan and didn't get her. I spent 2 multis for oberon, didn't get him. Did the daily singles and he came on a fucking rainbow. I don't get it
@@tuong194 tbh I play f2p and idk how to explain to you I rolled all my 30s on koeyanskaya and got canis and bewulf used some summon tickets to get to 2x and in middle of doing it boom its her
The not getting Koyan doesn't apply to me, but Mothman literally was the first draw on multi
Let's not forget the possibility Oberon could come up as a surprise rate up in the Thanksgiving banners. Or worse, a surprise banner from NA as they've been doing lately.
How possible is this because didn’t JP go like 18 months without his banners?
@@Hannibal13 All depends if NA is allowed to put Oberon in rotation. It's possible as seen with Arjuna Alter getting a banner before LB6 was released.

You are my opposite then, after failure of acquiring Koyanskaya's after 200+ sq, the Mothman spook me after 2 multi.

One banner I think you missed during your mention of the remaining banners this year is Melusine's return (being sandwiched between Skadi and Koyanskaya of Darkness in December)
I'd imagine some people would've skipped her initial banner to roll on this one, given the gauntlet of Lostbelt 6 into Anniversary.
I saved since Van Gogh's banner last year, has been an absolute slog not rolling up until now but totally worth; I now have Morgan, Melusine NP2, Koyan, Oberon and 800 sq left for Summer Kama. I know I got pretty lucky, but we have known about this banner gauntlet on NA for 2 years. Gacha games are all about patience.

@@key3926 while it definitely helps, you dont need clairvoyance, you just need to figure out in the gacha you are playing how to budget for banners. You cant get everything, so you have to know when its a better idea to save and have the willpower to do so.
Everyone talking about getting one and/or the other easily, and here I am, almost hitting pity for koyan and hitting pity for oberon.
I managed to get both but I'm still just watching for the humor of these videos
It was worth getting both Koyanskaya and Oberon. I gave up so many banners I wanted in NA early 2022/2023 but it was worth it.
I didn't save shit and I got both of em. And Castoria np2 from her banner.
I was lucky as hell.
Honestly, it sucks that I spent nearly 700* sq for Mothman only for him not to show up.
But at the very least I managed to get Tamamo Vitch to np2, so I can farm with the basic buster farmers. I just can’t use the weirder farmers.
Edit: The next day after I posted this I decided to buy another 80 dollar pack on Oberon’s last day. Ended up getting him in 90 sq.
So now I have both Koyanskaya and Mothman for optimal buster farming.
Me: Has Oberon, Koyanskaya, and Castoria.
Also Me: Lacks anyone that can use them and get the most out of them.
Summer Kama pairs great with Castoria, and next Anni theres Arcueid who pairs amazing with Koyan, Melu and Morgan also come back at the end of the year.
Jason is in the fp pool and works with 2x Castoria.
I have no Oberon but I feel like its a counterbalance after getting Koyan in four tickets. Hahaha
Man... I didn't sleep for over 31 hours doing my best to get Oberon, and even after I farmed a total of 330 SQ after Koyanskaya sucked all I had, he didn't come to my Chaldea... Worst part is that I don't want him for his gameplay, but because as a character, he's my favourite, so it hurts even more.
Is it wishful thinking to belive that Oberon will get a rerun banner before his original rerun. We got Arjuna Alter this April, when he was supposed to get his first rerun next February?
Spending all my quarts for Oberon made me lose my hope of getting him. I’ll try a last ditch 11 pull but after that I’m hard saving for Summer servants. Let’s just hope I get the moth since I got the fox too.
This is my 4th week playing, and I'm going to save quartz for a year and a half to get Tiamat and Draco. Already made up my mind

Real catalyst to summon oberon: get dodged by merlin on his every banner.

I saved up in the thousands but got every single Tam Lin instead. Don't have the SQ to get him before he leaves. And now I learn that he only has one other banner lined up. Feelsbadman
I have both of them, but I don't have the QP to level up any of my new servants or to get Arjuna Alter's mana loading. I do have Artoria at np3 (Oberon really decided to troll me by having the gold card be her and not Barghest) but I don't know how to properly loop with her. I think the only real priority for now is Summer Kama and Zenobia, but perhaps I might think roll for Melusine at the end of the year. I need to get Taira during New Years, so I can't go broke no matter what
If you wanna loop with Artoria you will need at least her battery leveled at 10 and either a MLB KScope or her charge append at 10 and a kscope.
But after that its smooth sailing with double Koyan, you dont need Atlas for cooldowns, first battle you buff your buster with Koyan, pop excalibur, second battle you use Artoria's Battery THEN Koyan's battery, rinse and repeat for battle 3 along other buffs.
Sounds tricky at first but as long as you remember the skill order for battle 2 and 3 you should just be able to go to town with Artoria, if you have her other skills maxed you can also use her charisma at battle 1 then be able to pop it again at battle 3
@@EndymionMkII Thank you for your explanation! It sounds a lot easier than I thought it'd be and it truly will just rely on me remembering the skill order. My Artoria is lv 100 and has all her skills maxed out, so I know her damage is going to be impressive. I can't wait to get the QP I need for her mana loading so I can unleash her looping potential, which hopefully shouldn't take too long to achieve
I blew my quartz on trying to get copies of Koyanskya, not realizing that Oberon was *literally* right around the corner. The biggest of L's for me

That was pretty much my situation on JP. Got a miraculous NP3 Mélusine, and managed to snatch a copy of Morgan from her second banner, but I had to go without Koyanskaya and Oberon (eventually got Koyanskaya like six months ago, so that was a year and a half without either of them). Really encouraged me toward multicore teams, at least as far as Buster was concerned.
Fortunately I won't have to jump through those hoops on Global.
Glad that I can join the cool masters club this year too. I got both Koyanskaya and Oberon. I also got NP3 Morgan (it could be NP5 if not because of Jack and Anastasia spooks). I got Melusine too, but since she is only NP1, Morgan is still my main Buster farmer. I guess she is more for boss fighter Arts Lancer for me.

So i wouldn't ignore melusine just cause she's np1

Luckily I am going for the Art meta so I already have my Castoria and I am currently saving for Summer Ibuki and potential future Arts dps
I gottem all already, so I'm saving for potentially another copy of Melu , and then bunkering down until Tez comes out. Fino may have not mentioned him, but he's hella cracked - he's on par with Zerker Ibuki and Spishtar, he's a fantastic hybrid support option, and he has a neat Passive that buffs your Mystic Codes. The only thing holding him back is his Assassin Class and a properly Hybrid Arts Support like Koyan Dark that can splash big Arts Buffs across the whole party, but on the whole Tez is great.
Got Both Buster Metas at NP2 but the actual Buster Loopers (Melu and Morgan) cost so much with only NP1 as a reward.
Personally i chose to get Morgan after I got Koyan, I’ll just aim for Oberon next year while I save for more Morgan NPlvl for her next banner
If you rolled for Morgan and melusine before their best supports you're a fool unless you have means to guarantee them
I got both of them after spending a total of 200 free quartz. Which was pretty fortunate considering that I didn't need to spend a single penny on any one of them.
I'm glad I got both of them. Koyan with free quartz and Oberon in about 6-9 multis. But I am glad they are getting reruns so I can try to get copies.
Double Oberon system with Oberon as the DPS is the best system.
Word of advice to all f2ps like me. Don't roll on a banner until you can hit pity.
The only thing worse than needing to hit pity, is spending hundreds of quartz, not getting the target servant, and not having enough to get the pity consolation prize. At that point, you actually wasted a bunch of resources, and that's the road to either bitterly spending or quitting.
If you want broke rolling for Koyanskaya, failed to get her, and will try again at Christmas, start saving now and don't stop until you got an equivalent of 900sq.
Nowadays i dont pull unless i have enough to pity, but gacha hasn't been as exciting anymore since both the worst case and best case scenario means me getting the servant.
That was a friend who failed to get Kama in 900 before pity came out. She got all of her targets but that one failure made her quit, so your statement is accurate
I'm really in that Vitchless/Mothless boat on NA. My Morgan and other Buster servants are in pain...

Very VERY surprised I was lucky enough to get both. I wasnt planning on having Koyan, but was planning for at least NP3 Oberon. Unfortunately only NP2 but still I'm very blessed. Good luck everyone else.

I got really lucky with my pulls and pulled Melusine, Morgan, Oberon and Koyanskaya. I even got a Saber Artoria spook in the process of summoning Oberon.
i got oberon in 130 pulls but the last pulls were gut wrenching since i had no servant to bond easily and i already spent most of my story free quests to get koyan so i had to buy out 3 quartz from the shop and used it for a single didn't get him but i tried the single paid quart summon and finally saw a gold and a pretender card was really happy i could yell but i didn't and i contained my happiness.
edit: i forgot to add the fact that i was very broke almost too broke to not being able to afford the 3 paid quartz
I'm in a weird situation - my account is relatively new (up to Babylonia story-wise).
I got both Koyan and Oberon via all my saved up SQ.
Now I've been farming for the past few days to get Morgan - I have a lot of good supports but no one to support.
Now I've farmed about 300SQ - no Morgan yet...

500 sq+ and didn't get Koyan, I´m tempted to roll for her in January but I can't resist pulling for Eresh because she has avoided me in EVERY SINGLE RATE UP
It is just Koyansaka that cucked me off all my sq around 400+ which left me with very little sq for Oberon, but I was confident to pull him in my first multi, which didn't happened and then I ran out of free quests and used up around 240 sq and 25 tickets, now I feel dumb for wasting sq on Koyan
Now I will give up on buster and focus on making my arts team strongest.

I could not get Castoria and quit the game, so I missed Oberon and Vitch too. NGL kinda sucks not being able to 3T the 90+ nodes. God darned power creep.
one doesnt simply have any purpose left in fgo if they dont have at least one of them, they better start packing...
I got Koyanskaya Np 2 in 4 singles, so i tough, why not more?, After 150 Sq i go her Np5 (F2P btw) and had only 100 left for Oberon, after a lot of disappointment, i got him in a single, and now i have no Qp, Mats, nor SQ.
Broke, but it was worth it.
Update, after 7 singles I got Morgan just now, I am astonished

Can't relate. Got every LB6 servants+Koyan and I didn't even have to spend money. Feels great.

I'm glad I was able to roll them both as a beginner, problem being I don't have the strongest unit to exploit them at the moment since my only other 5* at the moment is Artoria, but atleast I have Koyan and Oberon. I guess now I just wait for Arjuna alter since the support one has been helping me through the story.
Saber Artoria is great with Koyan and Oberon.

Got both in a total of 210 sq and 20 tickets. It's like fgo god told me that I ain't getting my dragon lancer, but here's 2 busted support as compensation.
I blew through so many SQ for the tamlins, Morgan, and especially Oberon. Needless to say, Koyanskaya came at a bad time this round.
Merlin as well. He continues to elude me even though I spent over 600SQ in the second to last banner alone. Caster Skadi shows up every time my SQ is low, so I can never try for her.
Now that I have a general idea of what is coming up. I have a better idea of how I want to save up. But there are still so many great servants I don't have. My luck is kinda shit in these SQS.

Got both(koyan in like 400 and Oberon in just over 100 I think idk since my initial summons didn’t get him but I did a yolo single and viola)and got morgan back on her first rate up too so I’m doing very good considering this is all ftp. Now I’m saving for summer and after that saving it all for that melusine rerun in December(hopefully can build enough for pity if it comes down to it)

I'm just saving hard for January because of case files rerun, scathach and proto arthur are supposed to be on a banner and the Ishtar Eresh banner is a must summon for me cause I'm just trying to collect my favorites at this point.
I didn't get oberon, but i get koyan so i think it's good after all, especially when i got spooked by morgan. I also got np5 barghest on oberon banner, so im not that mad :)

Koyan 2 multies 2 koyan same multi no other sr or ssr oberon almost 10 multies 7 sr 3 ssr all last multi all beside eachother spook jack and achilles needless to say i was in shock getting spooked twice in the same multi and still getting him( first copy of all three ssrs so achilles summoning line of hitting the servant summoning jackpot that popped up really rang true)

I'm probably not gonna get Oberon because I already tapped into my whaling allowance for fox lady, but I roll the 1-paid Quartz daily roll every day in hopes for a pleasant surprise. I care more for Melusine overall so if I don't get Oberon I at least have a chance to save up for round two of trying to get her
