I’ve had Charcot for over 2 years on my left foot. My doctor put me in a Charcot boot. I went from depending on a walker to get around to freely walking with the use of a cane! I love my Charcot boot it has given me the ability to walk again!
My Dr is too conservative for me. He wants to wait and see, which doesn't make sense. It's not going to go away or clear up! He doesn't want to do reconstructive surgery. I want to go all the way and get an amputation and a prosthesis, I want to WALK again! It's too unstable, I've already developed an ulcer that I had to go to the hospital for the infection, and it's so mind-bendingly painful I'm at a loss for words!
