What brought this game together for me was keeping the same traits in the same slots all the time that way you have muscle memory. when I started rhe group for this game I expected it to be much more popular than it is. I wish more people played it, but i think it's just too advanced for the majority of the new people getting and paying vr currently. If people take time to get used to the movement this is one of the best and most interesting vr games ever made in my option.
Keeping all your favourites in the same slots is definitely a great idea. Although I think the game is advanced I don't think its that inaccessible if given a chance. I also wish more people played it. I believe the lack of popularity was a very quiet launch. I suggested Mixed Realms joined the 90% off promo thing with Sairento (another excellent game). Would have been a great way to get players into the concept for cheap, and get them looking at Hellsweeper 😁
@@silver-tongued_devil I’ve loved it for awhile and I’m on mq2, I’m a 39 year old doom loving metal head father of two demons haha so my time is finite but for stress relief and absolute carnage?, their aren’t many games in stand alone that compete (dead hook and screirento?!,,,excluded).
Great video found a few thing out! I'm a pretty new player only about 12 hours so far but loving the game it makes you feel so powerful. One tip I found last night was to do with the hook shot on the bow, if you fire at the ground or wall it resets your jumps so you can keep in the air for minutes at a time ( or so it seems lol) I also turned off somersault as I tend to use magic a lot on the up swipe and it kept triggering the somersault when not needed.
Thanks very much! I'll give the hook shot another look at some point, as I'm quite sure that wasnt happening before so might have been in an update/new bug. Tbf I prefer pulling myself to the ground and handspringing off for the style and reset 😁and yeah hands up to somersault gets in the way of some mechanics, two handed overhead melee strikes was were it interfered for me. Some have asked for a button press option for somersault which would work, but I love throwing hands up too much personally.
I bought this ages ago and I didn’t know how intense it is, motion sickness wise and I don’t think I’ll bother playing. I suffer motion sickness and this game has extremely complicated sounding controls and I know I won’t be able to remember them.
It can have confusing controls, however alot of things like air dashing, somersaulting, teleporting etc either are off by default or you can turn off. I personally find the controls very intuative. The devs are all about options and providing you with customisation, so you can use as many or few features to begin with and add from there. As for motion sickness, vignettes are provided for, but it can be a very fast paced and intensive experience. I'd highly recommend at least giving it a try though, one of the best games on the Quest, absolute hidden gem of a game 😁
@ is the game playable at a slower pace and not doing backflips and hanging upside down and stuff? I don’t care so much about being great at the game but if I have to play at slower pace and maybe die much earlier, to lessen motion sickness, then it might be worth a go.
@@grahamkelly8662 Definitely. You could use alot of slowtime, and never leave the ground if thats the way you want to play. There are alot of options in the game to cater for you. Not just the options in the settings but also all the weapon types, the class system and blessings also really allow you to push which ever style you want to play as to an extreme 😁
This game remaind me of Devil May Cry. I have a Problem with the core gameplay, do. I would enjoy more if it had a campaing and a bit more focus on the progression system. It feels a bit overwelming
It can be very overwhelming actually. I'm planning a live stream from a fresh start profile at some point 😁 Lots of stuff to cover to get you on a good, and less confusing start lol
By blue do you mean enemies with the ice element on them? If so, there are ice crystals on them. Concentrate your fire and destroy them all to insta-kill. As for having weak weapons at the beginning of a run, make sure you are level up said weapons as soon and as often as you can back at homebase 😁

Favourite weapon or combo? Manually reloaded blood infused pistols. Blood ghost shots are easy mode 😁

@@Poisedanubis85 Really liked Sariento. Dead hook was great as well, but nowhere near as compelling a play as the mixed realms games 😁

How do kill the blue enemies? My weapons do little to no damage to them in the start of runs and it's really frustrating
