    Unimaginable! Dude this is incredible, but this is not pure timelapse, is it? (maybe little edit?)

      It's all Timelapse from thousands and thousands of photos

  • @crownlandproductions
    @crownlandproductions 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    Great film despite the opening image. Most modern Time lapse Photographers despite the amount of historical references come into the Canadian Rockies and do not research. They place their lenses so wide they make 10,000 ft. mountains look like mole hills in the prairies. I think what it is, they are so afraid that they won't capture enough sky that they chose to disregard all the amazing shadows sweeping over the mountain terrane. The number one mountain photographed in Canada is Mount Rundle and this opening shot is by far the worst time lapse image I have ever seen of the peak... It's unfortunate your trip through the Rockies did not produce any really breathless clips. I think why this film has done so well is the shots outside of the Canadian Rockies are truly remarkable. Nice work and if I was you I would look up Nicholas Morant... He is the only photographer you need to study to photograph the Canadian Rockies... He wrote the book and once you see the truly astounding work he produced on truly ancient 4x5 film you will understand why I am a picking bastard about proper landscape representation in the time lapse. I am truly a nice guy however I love my backyard and when I see such poor wide angle shots of such celebrated peaks the only word that comes to mind is tourist... Excellent editing and technical approach, -all the best and looking forward to seeing more work from you...

    • @crownlandproductions
      @crownlandproductions 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      - if anyone wants to call me another Morant fanboy - that's fine by me because he was the first to shoot the backyard like no other before him! The Canadian Mint printed his images on numerous bills through his life and that is yet an achievement done today by anyone I have come to known.
