I made the Tuscan Tortellini Soup for dinner tonight. My husband said, " Babe! You have made many awesome things for me during our 28 years of marriage...but this...THIS RIGHT HERE?? THIS is the BEST thing you have EVER made." Thanks for this recipe! I agree. It is absolutely delicious!!
The Swiss Steaks are actually something my Romani great grandmother used to make when she lived with us. If your grocery store has a wine & beer section they will usually carry small boxes of wines like Merlot, typically used in recipes. Our Harris Teeter carries 2 sizes. Small looks approx like a juice box & large is the size of a box of broth. Niether of us drink so the small box is perfect for us. I typically cut the amount in ½ & get 2 recipes out of it. Anything bigger & I end up throwing it out.
Pretty sure Brunswick stew was a rabbit recipe originally from the northeast. Very low calorie meat to use. I'm a lifelong hunter and fisherman but haven't tried it before. I remember harvesting a couple of rabbits for my family when I was in the fourth grade using a Winchester my grandpa had given me a couple years before this. Lots of proving my safety in its use and responsibility before being turned loose to do this. Great memories. Mom talked it up to friends and relatives which made me proud. Fried and simmered until crispy and tender, gravey and homemade biscuits. 😋 Sorry, just thinking outloud. Great video.

These are great meals. I was getting hungry watching. Stephens eyes reactions are priceless. I have suggestion do a bloopers of all the eyes Stephen has done throughout all your videos. Your family so lucky you are eating restaurant quality food at home. What a treat.
Isn’t it the best cooking for your guys? My husband and 4 sons are the best recipe testers. Your husband and son are really great at giving you positive feedback ! I really like the recipes you posted, some we have had but there were a few we haven’t tried yet 👏🏻 so I can’t wait to share the new ones with my family. We also love spice in my house, I believe my husband and 2 oldest have very little hot/spicy receptors left because it’s never spicy enough for them 🤷🏻♀️ I love spicy as well but I still like my tongue and tastebuds to have feeling and I like to actually taste my food but they love the heat 😉Thank you for such a great video. Thoroughly enjoyed it ❤

I just started my crock pot with your shredded potato and sausage recipe. It's the second dish I'm making of your recipes. I've been following you for the past 2 weeks, watching several videos. You cook the way I enjoy eating, this way I don't waste food (great left overs). I love how you sometimes improvise. With hard times ahead I am able to stockpile what I'll need so I can enjoy truly wonderful meals in the many month's (year's) to come. Your style of cooking is both affordable and delicious and I think we will be able to find many of the ingredients. Thank you so much. Love the cat, great husband, and your son is a chip off the old block.
Glad I found this video, really good stuff. When using the carton broths, have the pour spout up next to your hand. Don't get the glug, glug splash. Comes out in a smooth stream, and you have more control. If I remember correctly, prego (pray-go), Is "you're welcome" in Italian. Another great vid.
Wonderful additions to incorporate for cool weather meals. I always appreciate your time to do these, along with adding your family in the videos. God bless you and your family.
I have made the Creamy Tomato Basil Chicken several times. I always double the recipe so that I have leftovers. I use habenero Rotel in place of the diced tomatoes for some heat. Turns our awesome every time. It's one of my favorite dishes.
You impress me regarding your cooking and I've been around for years. Gracie Lou makes your videos great and your husband's verbal lowdown of each recipe is so neat.
Wow I was just looking for crockpot meal ideas. I'm literally standing over my empty crockpot thinking what to make for dinner. Thank you, Mandy, for reading my mind!
Love all this crockpot recipe..I make them all the time, just to my taste...If you want Extra flavor on swiss steak..I use french onion soup with 1/2can of water, instead of beef broth..just give it a deeper flavor...🤗🍜
I love the way you say "dub sauce" for Worcestershire sauce we call it "woo woo sauce". Thank you for all your wonderful recipes I can't wait to try them out.

I make that Tuscan Tortellini on the stovetop...now I am going to have to try it in the crock pot, as well as some others. Crockpot meals are the best. I also remove the spinach stems!
Long time watcher, never commented but I’m learning to cook for myself (so soups etc are wonderful since I always make too much), I love that you show how to cut recipes for smaller groups, an easy thing I’m sure but I like seining it done in real life. So my new to me comment is I love my instant pot, found out yesterday how to use it as a slow cooker and it worked perfectly! A whole new world has opened up to me! I feel for my co workers because I will have lots of leftovers to share now! Thank you for all the recipes!!! Yes I have a couple of crock pots BUT it feels like a hassle to dig them out of the cabinet 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️.
For the Mexican cheese soup... I think it was a good idea for you to add the seasoning in the beef instead of mixing it with the soup. That's how you got even more flavor at the end.
Mandy So great to see all of the crockpot meal ideas. I try to use my crockpot weekly so you have given me inspiration for weeks.Have a wonderful weekend.
Oh yummy! Excited to have some new crockpot recipes. Anxious to try the Swiss steak and the tomato basil chicken. I make the tortellini soup but add Italian sausage. You have to try it as its so good! Thanks!!
You can make that Jambalaya really special by adding (along with the chicken and sausage) some 16/20 shrimp about half an hour before it's done. Peeled, deveined of course, and cut into pieces about an inch. When you get it from the store, the peeling and deveining is usually done for you. You might want to remove the tails too. Wouldn't want to eat a tail. Them's bad eats. On the Sausage and Potatoes casserole, absolutely add broccoli into the dish. Saves you from having to dirty another dish, and people seem to like broccoli with cheese for some reason. Add it about half an hour before it's done, or throw a microwaveable bag of broccoli florets into the microwave for the recommended time, and add them just before serving.
Mandy, thank you for the ideas!! They all looked so yummy. And thank you so very much for the 50% off coupon for the Auntie NoNos Seasonings you shared last week.!!! That Firecracker Sea Salt is DELICIOUS!!!! You are so right about the flavors. Y'all have a great weekend! Go Tigers!!!
YAY crockpot meals!! We love our crockpot. We'll definitely be using it more this Fall and Winter. Our central unit is still broken and we don't think we'll have heat this winter. The cheapest unit we found is 9k and we live on an extremely extremely tight budget since my hubby's rollover accident. He had in 2009. It left him with a lot of health problems and I suffer from Crohn's and Osteopenia.
Mrs. T - just to offer suggestion for help; try whatever local non-profit agency does weatherization on homes. I worked for one here in Missouri and we often did repairs or replacement of heating systems along with making the home more energy efficient. Let me know if you can't find one. If you don't want to buy a whole bottle of wine for a recipe, it is handy to have on hand a four pack of small Sutter Home wine bottles. That way you can open them up as you want to use them. They come in some reds and whites. Not bad for cooking.
All the recipes look so delicious. I love your family giving feedback. I’m not a fan of dairy products so the Swiss steak one is definitely on my list to try this week.
Mandy, what a great selection of recipes. I always have a difficult time trying to figure out what to make for dinner. With food prices so high, these are great recipe budget stretches. Thank You so much. You knocked it out of the park ❤
Hello Mandy. Thank you so much for all the Crockpot Meals. I absolutely love using my crockpot. I use mine all year long. Not just for the fall and winter months. My family actually calls me the Queen of the Crockpot Meals. LoL. I've made so many delicious recipes. I hope that Y'all have a wonderful weekend. Love From your longtime Indiana Friend.
The Tuscan Tortellini Soup was Incredible! We had it tonight for dinner. I bought the Good & Gather tortellini from Target because the two other stores I shopped at only had tortellini with MSG in the ingredients. The Good & Gather was really good!
I may have made a similar comment in the past, idk, but just wanted to say I had a cat that looked a lot like Gracie Lou only with shorter fur (sadly she is gone now, died in 2018 at the ripe old age of 18). Her name was Bella and she loved cheese too. Whenever we got out the deli cheese, we'd give her a few bits. Just looking at Gracie in your videos brings back memories of my beloved Bella. Oh how I still miss her. Such a sweet girl.
WOW Perfect timing for these meals !!! I love crock pot meals. I really enjoy all the leftovers. There times when I will use more that one crock pot. Too easy plus I love how good my kitchen smells when I am cooking😆😅
I want to try that one too I always see minute steaks in the grocery and have never cooked them I think when we were young kids my mother used to cook with those steaks but I don’t remember what she did with them
Oh thanks again Mandy wonderful recipes that look so delicious and I can't wait to try them. I hope you have a great week ahead. Love seeing Stephen and your son and how much they enjoy your cooking, sending love and hugs, bye!!😂🥰🤗💜💜💜
My first time coming across your video and I can’t wait to try these recipes. Thank you Mandy for making it so simple to create list of items for your recipes. Thank you for putting so much time into this.
I keep a canister of Mother Earth's dried jalapeno peppers in my pantry for when I need a little heat and am out of fresh peppers. I put a tablespoon of dried jalapeno pieces in a small bowl and cover with hot water. Once pieces are soft, add jalapeno and liquid to your pot. You get the equivalent of about 1 large diced pepper. Nice heat but no overpowering.
Awesome dinner idea with the cube steak. Next time though, you should mix the tomato paste, Worcestershire, & tomato soup together. That paste has such a strong flavor, it needs to be diluted so it isn't bitter.
I’m making the Mexican Cheese Soup for supper this evening. Seeing how your family enjoyed this sold me 😋 I’m sure we will love it as much as your family did. Think I will make some cornbread to go with it. Thx to the person that you got the recipe from and your tweaks. It is very much appreciated ❤
Thanks for taking the guess work out of new crockpot meals. I love using my crockpot. Looking forward to making the sausage and potatoes, Swiss steak and creamy tomato basil chicken. I also take the stems off the spinach. Have a great weekend 😊
I always takes the stems off my spinach! (Even baby spinach). I thought I was the only one. My hubby thinks I'm silly. But they don't get tender enough.
First time viewer! I'm in Saint Helens, Oregon. I'm 60 yo, disabled and I live with my roommate son(also disabled). This is awesome! I love cooking and love new recipes! My son, 43, loves cooking and always looking for easy and tasty meal to make. He does most of the cooking. I love your channel and website! I love your southern draws, my daddy was from Arkansas, reminds me of him! I've been binging on your videos! We will be making some of the meals! Thank you for your channel!
Oh wow you got me on several of them that have gone to the top of this list. The hashbrown and kielbasa, the tortellini soups and that tomato basil chicken and the Swiss steak! My Crocktober started with Mississippi Pot roast, and Carla’s Chicken cordon blue!! Oh and that Mexican soups too!! Crock pot meals continue!!
Love watching your channel and thank you for all the easy ideas. The videos are the best, you're down to earth and have a great sense of humor. You can multitask (cook and talk) without boring us. Curious, Are there any videos of a recipe that you didn't like?
Mmmmmm It's is morning here and just watching this made us hungry again... I'll have to try these... I try to make our dinners with the Crockpot... I can't stand in the kitchen like i used to before my car accident...

Frankly my only problem is deciding which one to make first. Maybe a loaf of crusty Italian bread? Oh my gosh, yum. God bless you guys. Shirley.
I just love how your husband and son are your taste testers!!!!
Swiss steak, mashed potatoes and green beans was my favorite childhood meal! 😋
Same-it was often my requested birthday meal growing up. I am 60 years old and I still love my moms recipe for it. Soooo good!
Your husband and son are so encouraging and I love being a part of your dinner table. Love these recipes!

I’m so pleased to hear that there’s someone else out there that picks the stems off of the spinach!❤️🇺🇸
What a great compilation of crock pot meals. Thank you. I had forgotten what a beardless Steven looked like.
Hehe, I FUSSED at him when he did that. He hasn't done it again, LOL

I am making the chicken with the cranberry, French dressing and onion soup mix. Can't wait to try it!
That one is addictive 🤤 and the gravy it makes is good over mashed potatoes!
I didn’t see that one!
It is really good.
What’s for dinner No. 84 when I type that in TH-cam search it pulls it up. The thumbnail says New Subbie Fave. Hope you find it.

I make the tortellini soup but add Italian sausage. You have to try it as its so good!
Thanks!!
I'm with you about the spinach stems! I hate them and always remove them whenever I'm cooking with fresh spinach.
Suggestion on the sausage in the jambalaya. If you fry the sausage first, it adds so much more flavor.
One of my favorites is Swiss steaks ....have a wonderful wkd ❤️
I am a busy momma who needs quick meals so thank you very much!
All look delicious. Must try thank you for sharing. Blessings to you all
Awesome dinner idea with the cube steak.
I saved about 4 of these…they all look so good 😀😃😄❤
