- SYNTRX [sintrex] is developed from scratch all analogue synthesizer with digitally controlled patch matrix. It features 3 highly accurate VCOs, noise generator with “color” filter, resonant VCF, ring modulator, spring reverb, looping envelope generator, joystick controller, input amplifier with adjustable gain for microphone to line level signals, 3 VCAs, output signal filter, analogue CV/audio signal level indicator and built in speakers.

@kickdje You're comparing apples and oranges. A Minilogue is way cheaper than a Moog Model D for example. There is absolutely no correlation between number of voices and price. This is a unique beast that does things the Subsequent can't even dream of, especially being fixed architecture, vs this which is a matrix modular. You're welcome to find it overpriced, I can't afford it myself, but it makes no sense to compare it with anything, except maybe the original EMS AKS which costs about 3 times as much as this.

With THE SAME MONEY U CAN BUY 2 ELEKTRON ANALOG 4 = 8 voice POLYPHONY (and not PARAPHONY) or 2x4 voice poly, ...or BE PREPARED... 8 MONO SYNTH, EVERY SINGLE ONE WITH 2xOSC and 2subOSC PER VOICE. I REPEAT, X VOICE!!!! And not to mention the routing capabilities, 4 internal awesome sequencers, and many many more than this synth: more at half the price. Sorry guys but either u r very avid or u are not very good on manufacturing... Your prices are totally crazy.

Most anticipated release of the year. Too bad it will take me going back to work, whenever that’s gonna be, with the state of things, to be able to afford one. Absolute beast of a synth from sounds to look, I’m in love with everything about this.

@@QuincasMoreira sadly not the ability to save a patch you have created...this is a must for me.
@ErsatzMoose I disagree. In this case sure, saving the matrix state would be trivial, and it's not even a clone or remake of the Synthi, merely inspired by the aesthetic and workflow.. But for knobs you need to replace them with encoders and unless they are motorized, the visual state won't reflect that of loaded presets, and they definitely won't feel like or respond as immediately as true potentiometers. Many of the remakes are actual analog clones and cheaply made, so preset memory would significantly bump the price while also making them less authentic. There's a lot to be said about instruments that you just play, turn knobs, get the sound you want and go. Guitars don't have presets either...

Damn. Someone finally got it figured out with my favorite multi turn presicion potentiometers. I love the off white paint job too. And even a joystick that doesn’t spring back to zero when you let off of it. That cat was thinking about that joystick once the hand went away. A very inquisitive cat. Try to sell me your Syntrx and I wind up going to prison for cat abduction!

@@kellymerrill5294 That price makes perfect sense for this synth. It's well developed and made. It's not a hugely mass-produced item, it's made by a small group of people (not Roland / Yamaha) it has some innovations over its inspirational source material. The buyer doesn't have to pay $10,000+ and sit on a three-year waiting list, the buyer doesn't have to pay $10,000 for what is essentially a clone (thinking Hornet here). To some, maybe having an original is more important. Maybe to some, the impedance fluctuations of the original pin-matrix "make up part of the sound" (not me however) but the price, for this synth, is 100% reasonable. Also, Girts is a reasonable guy, I've been talking to him for years. I also design synths myself, and if I were to build something like this, I'd be charging a little bit more in fact. (though I operate on a much smaller scale than Erica Synths. No, the price is fine.
I guess money is relative, not for us working class hobos. I like Erica because they are typically affordable, in this case I think they are charging a lot because a vintage synthi costs 15k or more.
Kelly Merrill well, I can’t really afford one myself, so I get it. :) I just think it’s an excellent take on the Synthi style synth, and I know it’s worth the price. (which is lower than most other hardware entry points for such a synth).

I really want one. This is well worth the price for what it is. Not cheap, but reasonable for the feature set. Yeah, you could build a modular system that does this, but it would be bulky. I lust after this machine.
