I think all the Yonko are handled well. But i think some people misunderstand Kaido. A lot of people say things like Kaido was underwhelming because he didnt kill any major characters which isnt really a thing Oda writes for villains so idk why Kaido is the odd one out. People never complained that Lucci, Croc, or Doffy didnt kill any main characters. Also with regards to his backstory, i get that people wanted a longer backstory but i feel like Oda was voing for more subtle characterization with Kaido and people just wanted everything plainly said to them, to each their own. Oda really spoiled people with Doffy's backstory cuz now everyone wants a volume of villain backstory now. (Also lol at people thinking Luffy wouldnt punch the villain when he's been doing that the whole story) And with Big Mom people really just think she should've been stronger but she seemed pretty intimidating and strong in Wano, its just that the combo if Kid and Laws abilities was too good. Also i dont think that Big Mom "needs" any thing else, she like all villains are obstacles. I really dont think she'll come back to have a character arc in Elbaf.

Kaido to me wasn’t much of a let down, his story was just very subtle compared to the usual onepiece characters, what frustrated me is him not killing the scabbards, he needed to kill a few of them in my opinion, in the case of big mom her backstory was the best for me out of all the yonko, I wish her story continues to see the conclusion of her delusions(mother carmels love) and insanity (hunger pains), also I need a better showing of strength from big mom Shanks it’s up to oda but until now he is everything he needs to be Teach no need to even explain why he has only being great Luffy I mean he is our guy, all I want is members of his crew that didn’t have the opportunity to shine to do so Buggy , oda surprised me with buggy and in a good way all I can hope for is for him and his crew to be more active especially crocodile and mihawk Whitebeard was perfect
One thing that should have been expanded upon was the terrorties under each Yonko's control. Like we see briefly pre timeskip Kaido has a favorite Winter Island. Along with the idea of Yonkos, rookie pirates heading to the New World fighting for teorrorties, for and against other Yonkos, etc. And there probably should have been an arc or two in between Whole Cake and Wano given we went from one Yonko and her entire crew that we couldn't beat even with another alligance, and many other factors, to fighting TWO YONKOS and one Yoknko's entire crew.
That would be a waste of time. The yonko territories aren't plot relevant, they're just islands they have control over. Its like saying we should've seen what the houses are like in HunterxHunter
Just a slight correction, no Yonko crew is capable of taking on the marines. Multiple would be required and they might not win, it's why Akainu put the new Marine HQ in the middle of the New World AND sends his forces out on regular missions instead of protecting home base. Sengoku would've never done either of the two.
That's also why everyone was so shook with BM and Kaido's alliance. The BM pirates had the numbers and support specialists, while the Beast pirates supplied the heavy hitters.
I think Big Milf could've been handled better at times and Kaido while still cool was kind of a let down as a antagonist also wish we saw more Shanks but that would lessen his mystique probably.
Big Mom's poor showing makes a lot more sense if you consider the idea that she has been faking all this time. At least for me it seemed really suspicious that Luffy was able to do all he did in Wholecake not only with Big Mom, herself, there (which would have made it impossible enough) but with her main crew there as well. This should have been IMPOSSIBLE- no matter the hijinks the Straw Hats pulled off. And even if you wanted to say most of this was plausible, the Straw Hats successful escape from Big Mom wasn't. Not only did Luffy STOP while running from Big Mom to try and strike her, he manages to get away with coup d' burst. Even if the ship could move that fast, there's no reason why Big Mom couldn't catch up to them. As you pointed out, these strange stalls continue in Wano. Big Mom is even in a direct conflict with Franky and Nami at one point and THEY get away. I couldn't believe it. But there was a moment that put it all together for me. When Big Mom asks Perospero, "Do you trust me?" Big Mom is the ultimate player here. Or, at least, a seriously devious one. She LETS the Straw Hats escape from her island. She engages in an alliance with Luffy and LETS Luffy progress as far as he has. The one issue I have here is the relationship of Big Mom and Kaido. Luffy's performance against Kaido is also HIGHLY unlikely. Even with his awakening, Kaido clearly says "Haki transcends all". Either Kaido is also playing around and Big Mom and Kaido have a deeper plan that involved faking their death...or Big Mom, alone, had a deeper plan. The last clue, of course, is that they died but it couldn't be confirmed. Either Big Mom and Kaido both lived or Big Mom took the opportunity to take down Kaido, herself, and is now letting Luffy progress. Why would she/they do this? I think it's because they knew they couldn't find the One Piece themselves. So...they are allowing Luffy to progress in order to find it for them. This is just my theory though...

Over 1000+ chapters yet 95% of the characters aren’t developed or haven’t even done yet shit or just simply the bare minimum 😅 the amount of time wasted on nonsense throughout the story instead of the actual plot of finding the one piece. A lot of things and the twists and many characters still not yet introduced only make everything more problematic. Feels like oda is all over the place at times with no central focus.

It's funny because just give a character with previously underwhelming feats good feats and the powerscalers will just readjust their understanding of the character without heavy criticism. At this point, I have learned not to take oda's powerscaling seriously..
