It'll work but the issue is chongyun N E E D S to be using a (or as close to it as u can get ) R5 sack great sword just to have 100 percent up time on the cryo auto attacks. Been playing this exact team but yujin and not Bennett and it's pretty good oddly enough not sweaty like some other teams but it'll get the job done
i run a forced mdps shenhe c0 r1 homa. I've got 2 builds actually, one with calamity as a full support and a dps with homa. i usually go c6 chongyun, bennett, diona/sucrose. Diona is nice for the extra shield and her E actually deals a good chunk of damage with shenhe buff. Theres always some downtime for my chongyun even with sac claymore, but I usually fill those gaps with his burst. My shenhe has hardly any ER but I have two batteries and she produces a hefty chunk of particles anyways. tbh she doesn't do toooooo badly. her CAs deal 28-30k (for like 2 hits lmao) and she plunges for 38k, her hold E does a decent 53k and with the occasional melt, 107k. no one asked, but that's my experience with dps shenhe

You should add Yun Jin. A lot of people can now dps carry bcuz of her since she can add a 6-8k damage on all your attacks if you have decent artifacts on your carry (c0 btw). Edit: woops 8k is too high of a ceiling. It’s possible with a very invested carry and Yun Jin. You just need stats that buffs her buff and your own normal attack. You need to stack your damage type and crit damage on your carry, while have over 2k DEF and crowned Yun Jin. This is actually very easy one characters that use crit damage weapons and has high damage type bonuses on their artifacts (pale flame, bolide, and shimenawa users have it easy). Other supports like kazuha for elemental damage users can increase the buff even further
I have a c3 Yun Jin because I was rolling for Shenhe and got Qiqi. But got the last con. for my Ningguang so building her because it’s something to do.
Ayaka was already one of the strongest in the game bruh. Shenhe just gave steroids to every cryo dps. My Chongyun is crazy strong now and I don't even have a good dps build yet on him When I swapped my ayaka build on him he became crazy with shenhe buff
i mainly play her as main dps, sometimes use her as sub dps, and i'm running following things on her: weapon: staff of homa artifacts: 4piece pale flame (probably gonna farm 4piece blizzard strayer for her too), sands atk, goblet atk (i sometimes switch with a cryo goblet) and critdmg circlet talents: aa: 5 skill: 5 burst: 4 she already hit 13k phys dmg with a charged atk, hit 32k with an charged e and with her burst she hit 20k. i prefer her as main dps, because she surprisingly does good dmg :)

No Yunjin though
Yeah dps shenhe is a bit lacking for now im going let her bench for now(I don't have ganyu or ayaka) and focus on my itto and farm early for yae. If signora(she is definitely not dead yet) shows up or rerun ayaka then ill build up my shenhe
She’s not made to dps you can build any characters as a main dps but they won’t be as effective and will require more investment. A lower investment main dps can do more then a high investment support with a dps build. I think MiHoYo purposely made her a full support because her support dps capabilities are also lacking.

Shenhe gave me the same feelings as Kokomi where she opens up alot of possibilities with what you can do in this game AND her character is awesome. If you have Shenhe C6, you can turn ANY melee character into a cryo dps.
I was surprised when Ayaka was dealing 10 k per charged attack hits when Shenhe was in the party during the archon quest. (Usually my Ayaka only does around 4k-5k on each of the charged attack hits)
i pulled Shenhe because i love her design and lore (my favorite genshin character of all time) to my surprise I have Ayaka so justifying my pulls for her were easy . Currently running her with Surcrose Diona and Ayaka as my abyss team
i pulled her cause shes hot as fuck. i never understood why people cry about characters being OP or not when everything on max world level dies in 1 hit anyways. unless you are struggling for an abyss team it really doesnt matter.
Been running Shenhe, Diona (w/ instructors), Diluc, and Benneyboi. Shenhe hold skill does 29k reverse melt, higher with team buffs. I've got her at lvl 70 and lvl7 talents. Looking forward to her damage after collecting BP materials.
omg!!! and is that damage stable? 🥺💗 i really wanted to pull for her but a friend of mine told me not to do it since he said the buff to her ganyu lasts very little for the time it takes between charged attacks, it forces you to play melee by staying in the shenhe's cryo area which is uncomfortable etc
other problem i find is that i don't know which character I could replace in my team for shenhe, i play the permafrost build so i need an hydro and anemo character for sure and then there is diona but i find her shields very necessary (at least for me) so idk what to do 😔 i really like shenhe tho
@@alisalt1402 no, you dont need to stay at mele range you can use press E in narnia with shenhe, then switch to ganyu and you have 7 icy quils (3 charge attacks), yes, it is stable damage 45k, for 50k is with her ultimate, but it is like benett ult you can use at mele or range it doesnt matter. I forgot to say, meta is temporaly waifu is eternal, pull whatever you want. I can say you the real problem of Shenhe is the poor amount of icy quils 7 only, in multiple targets is nothing, but i have her bc im waifu collector 😍

I kinda wanted to try shenhe with shimenawa set with Chong and yunjin. Could make her autos strong by stacking the 4 piece with her own buff since her autos are now cryo bc of Chong and then yunjin further buffing the autos.
Just do the same thing: Im upgrade my Shenhe to ascend 6 and 999 her talent. In term of solo dps, My triple crown C4 Rosaria still win (With same weapon and artifact). I dont try physical build yet. But yeah, dps Shenhe is a no for me (My term in dps is for abyss, for openworld dps Shenhe still carry). But her support kit can make my Hanayumi Ganyu turn into Amos Ganyu haha.
hmmm im not exactly sure what your getting at. i also use shenhe c1 and rosaria c6 neither are crowned and i feel like my shenhe does just as much damage as rosaria does. however i dont run physical rosaria. obviously rosaria normal attack damage is way higher but skill damage shenhe is 2 to 3 times stronger. i think my point was why compare them when you can pair them.

I love going against the Meta and making support characters dps. I made my Raiden a dps character and I love her. But now she’s mainly burst dps like my Mona and I use Itto as my main DPS
I'm p late but hell, dpshenhe is fun to play. I'm using her as my mdps, with deathmatch, and triple atk% build with decent crit rate and dmg, and using benny xiang and venti in my team, and it's super fun. She's a tad squishy due to not having HP substats but she hits pretty hard with basic atk alone. Don't care what people say honestly, meta isn't everything, and it's just our own way of having fun in this game. Keep it up, keep making weird or out-of-norm builds, because it is fun.
This is a very expensive comp but if you have a Wolves gravestone on Chongyun you will see a higher return for shenhes dps. For example if you run Shenhe main dps ganyu burst support (since her burst field boosts cyro damage), Diona (movement speed buff sheild and heals) and Chongyun in a normal rotation you won’t need a sacrificial grave sword because you’ll need to set up with Ganyu sheild with Diona and set up again with Shenhe and Chongyun 👍
I have a question for anyone that knows a lot about Shenhe. If you were using Shenhe as support and you didn't have Calamity Queller or anything else but you have Vortex Vanquisher would that be really good for her because of the atk% or no? I'm not wishing for her or anything I just really want to know

Im doing the same thing but with physical and my normal attacks do about double if not a bit more than what is shown in the video.. granted my NA is crowned and so are the other 2 abilities (i even just saw a 20k *normal attack* .. no not charged, normal)
@@SLQ-xs2kn Its really just a usual superconduct team (or c6 rosaria.. or both, do as you want lol) + bennett and i personally use zhongli ontop of that, as for artifacts i just have a 2pc bloodstained 2pc pale flame, i have pretty good rolls on it (75/160 crit ratio with jade spear) but even should you have worse rolls it should do comparable damage
every characters can be a good dps with good build + 5 star weapon. next time when you doing showcase just show the raw damage without team comp. some players can calculate it self
I have 4pc gladiator ATK% Goblet and Sands + Crit Dmg circlet, Calamity queller, and a superconduct team. Shenhe, Beidou, Qiqi, Yun Jin. Its not optimal but its stupid fun 😂
In my opinion is that Shenhe will be optimal only with other cryo characters, hers dps kinda lacks so no chance of being main dps, I haven't pulled and I won't (maybe on rerun) because I lack a cryo main dps, gonna wait for ayaka or ayato to see how it goes
Should I save my primo for Ganyu who is literally the most amazing character and the prettiest, also I love the way of playing her with her charged attack or should I pull for Shenhe and boost my Ayaka ? Or maybe Ganyu will be good for Ayaka as a support for her cryo dmg ? At least i don't like the design of Shenhe, but i'm talking about meta :(
if you talk about meta boosting your ayaka dmg using shenhe will not win against ganyu + ayaka pairing, my ganyu is a main carry with wanderer troupe and amos, lv 9 ult, even with that situation my ult is hitting 10-15k per ice drops. can hit higher if you build her specifically for burst spam. also her ult is quad scaling if you add clustering unit like kazuha/venti. so I would say ganyu
Ganyu and Ayaka it's probably better. Ganyu can do a nice DMG in the burst and buff cryo. Also, have more uptime, if u give Ganyu enough energy she can use the burst every time without cooldown. But idk, Kazuha is coming and it's also very good, probably better then Ganyu, but between Shenhe and Ganyu, Ganyu wins

I think you should use hold because it buffs your normal attack While tap only increase skill Or you can use Tap first then switch and use chongyu skill to buff its skill damage for more damage and then switch to other characters or vice versa then switch to her back and use hold skill

If you have C2 Chongyun his skill takes 3 seconds to use again once the previous is over, and he also lowers Cryo RES by 10% when the skill is over

hmmm im not exactly sure what your getting at. i also use shenhe c1 and rosaria c6 neither are crowned and i feel like my shenhe does just as much damage as rosaria does. however i dont run physical rosaria. obviously rosaria normal attack damage is way higher but skill damage shenhe is 2 to 3 times stronger. i think my point was why compare them when you can pair them.

My Rosaria skill dmg get 9k+18k iirc with 7s cd, meanwhile Shenhe only 33k in hold and tap is 20k+ with cooldown 15s and 10s (For Childe, in ow might higher), Shenhe still higher but her cooldown is longer than Rosaria but yeah maybe my Rosaria seem pretty stronger because i use crown in her :")
Build? Pjws Bllizard Gladi 2 set. Cr/Cdmg 68%/200% with ER around 122%. Atk for Rosaria is 2.1k and Shenhe 2.3k
My Shenhe is there to pair with Ganyu since i want to complete Cloud Retainer cloth set. And my Rosaria is eternal pair with Xiangling.

I love going against the Meta and making support characters dps. I made my Raiden a dps character and I love her. But now she’s mainly burst dps like my Mona and I use Itto as my main DPS

I'm p late but hell, dpshenhe is fun to play. I'm using her as my mdps, with deathmatch, and triple atk% build with decent crit rate and dmg, and using benny xiang and venti in my team, and it's super fun. She's a tad squishy due to not having HP substats but she hits pretty hard with basic atk alone. Don't care what people say honestly, meta isn't everything, and it's just our own way of having fun in this game. Keep it up, keep making weird or out-of-norm builds, because it is fun.

This is a very expensive comp but if you have a Wolves gravestone on Chongyun you will see a higher return for shenhes dps. For example if you run Shenhe main dps ganyu burst support (since her burst field boosts cyro damage), Diona (movement speed buff sheild and heals) and Chongyun in a normal rotation you won’t need a sacrificial grave sword because you’ll need to set up with Ganyu sheild with Diona and set up again with Shenhe and Chongyun 👍

Im doing the same thing but with physical and my normal attacks do about double if not a bit more than what is shown in the video.. granted my NA is crowned and so are the other 2 abilities (i even just saw a 20k *normal attack* .. no not charged, normal)

@@SLQ-xs2kn Its really just a usual superconduct team (or c6 rosaria.. or both, do as you want lol) + bennett and i personally use zhongli ontop of that, as for artifacts i just have a 2pc bloodstained 2pc pale flame, i have pretty good rolls on it (75/160 crit ratio with jade spear) but even should you have worse rolls it should do comparable damage

Should I save my primo for Ganyu who is literally the most amazing character and the prettiest, also I love the way of playing her with her charged attack or should I pull for Shenhe and boost my Ayaka ? Or maybe Ganyu will be good for Ayaka as a support for her cryo dmg ? At least i don't like the design of Shenhe, but i'm talking about meta :(
Ganyu is a nice addition to your team.
But if you're talking about meta, since you have Ayaka already, I suggest Kazuha/Zhongli

boosting your ayaka dmg using shenhe will not win against ganyu + ayaka pairing, my ganyu is a main carry with wanderer troupe and amos, lv 9 ult, even with that situation my ult is hitting 10-15k per ice drops. can hit higher if you build her specifically for burst spam. also her ult is quad scaling if you add clustering unit like kazuha/venti. so I would say ganyu
Ganyu and Ayaka it's probably better. Ganyu can do a nice DMG in the burst and buff cryo. Also, have more uptime, if u give Ganyu enough energy she can use the burst every time without cooldown. But idk, Kazuha is coming and it's also very good, probably better then Ganyu, but between Shenhe and Ganyu, Ganyu wins

I think you should use hold because it buffs your normal attack
While tap only increase skill
Or you can use Tap first then switch and use chongyu skill to buff its skill damage for more damage and then switch to other characters or vice versa then switch to her back and use hold skill
A single tap on E gives the buff aswell...

Go for zhongli
The buffs are different, but having a strong shield to protect you overall is more comfortable. Also the 20% res of Zhongli helps as well
