The skit (vignette) was really amusing and instructive just like all your other skits. Keep up the great work. You, Phi, and all your associates (including your camera people and other technical staff) are awesome.
Thank you very much as always~ I have been watching your video with many thanks~ Your voice is very nice and makes Southern pronunciation much better and more interesting!!
Trời ơi!What a good and interesting lesson / clip! I burst out laughing for this interesting clips! (or I should say funny) Tôi cảm thấy thích quá!Tôi cảm thấy rất thích!Tôi cảm thấy thích muốn chết!
Here below is my first suggestion in 2017 for SVFF! In lesson 15, Tôi cảm thấy (= I feel) is introduced. Actually, there are many short phrases / sentences for SVFF to make lessons! For examples: WOULD YOU MIND (opening the door for me) WOULD YOU PLEASE (open the door for me) WOULD IT BE CONVENIENT FOR YOU (to open the door for me) WOULD IT BE POSSIBLE FOR YOU (to open the door for me) I WONDER IF (you can open the door for me) MAY I ASK YOU (to open the door for me) HOW ABOUT (opening the door for me) The meaning of some of the above English examples are like Làm Ơn in lessons 14. Anyway, SVFF can refer to any books introducing English short phrases/sentences. I think it can inspire SVFF to make more lessons. One Vietnamese example I think of right now is “không biết có thể…không?” More English examples: Do you happen to、What would you like to have for、I am wondering、I wonder if、Can you image、Are you planning to、Sorry to bother you、Please allow me、I’d appreciate if、Please forgive me、You might try、I cannot wait to、I’d strongly recommend to、I’am afraid that、Frankly speaking…etc. Just my personal suggestion and I do hope that it can be of great help for SVFF to make lessons and attract more subscribers!
The examples of the so many English short sentences & phrases are my first SUGGESTION/IDEA in 2017 for SVFF to make lessons, not my questions~ I am trying to give as many ideas as I have to inspire SVFF to make more great lessons for foreigners. When it comes to Vietnamese learning, I might not be a good student, but I am trying to do my best to give as many ideas as I can give to SVFF from a foreigner’s point of view. There is an English saying-‘YOU SCRATCH MY BACK AND I’LL SCRATCH YOURS’. It means you do a favor for me and I'll do a favor for you. SVFF helps foreigners learn Vietnamese and definitely I will try to help SVFF for making more great lessons. Xin cảm ơn to SVFF!
I noticed in the video that "cảm thấy" was simplified to just "thấy". Is this common? Just in the South? If this is common, how do u seperate between "thấy = see" and thấy feelings?! Thanks. Hỏi từ một sinh học của Anh ở Thái lan..
+Kissapol Sirikittikul good question! It depends on the context! If there is noun after Thấy (thấy tiền, tôi thấy cô giáo) that means seeing! If thấy is followed by a adj , it means feeling (thấy mệt, thấy nóng, thấy buồn, thấy vui)
+Darren Dang well it's a little bit complicated to explain here! But some vowel such as u, ô, o when combines with final consonant, to pronounce that, we should close our lips: ốc, ốt, út, úc, ung and more :)
Maybe this way is better for the instructor to teach Vietnamese vocabularies:1.nóng (hot)、2.lạnh (cold)、3.khát (thirsty), putting (English translation) after Vietnamese. Just personal suggestion.

Hey man have tones in vietnamese music?
+Caio Việt Nam i think they still have tones as normal! Because writer choose the right words for the right songs so the melody wont change the tones
"Khát" sounds like it ends somewhere between a c/t in English to me. Why is that?
Also in "hanh phúc", it sounds like a "phúc" ends with a p. Can someone explain why? Thank you. :)
+Darren Dang khát in SV sounds same as "khác"! That the way we pronounce theese sounds!
+Darren Dang well it's a little bit complicated to explain here! But some vowel such as u, ô, o when combines with final consonant, to pronounce that, we should close our lips: ốc, ốt, út, úc, ung and more :)
