i just went 19/2/2 in this matchup today, the Illaoi was autofilled, i got back to back Pentakill's and ended the game, i liked celerity nimbus to reaction dodge her E and hard all in with good wavestate.

i prefer to play irelia into illaoi. but in the worst case scenario i think lethal tempo level 1 timing flash is your only chance.
I wish there was someone who made content like yours about midlane fundamentals, there's a couple that are good, but don't actively make videos where they talk about exactly what they're doing and why they're doing it like a lot of your content.
Check out husum, swain otp but he talks about general midlane fundamentals and macro a lot

Coach Curtis is good imo. His way of explaining things is definitely harder to understand than Alois. He uses a bit more jargon, but still a useful resource.

In my experience when Illaoi hits her E and if you're ahead, just zone here away, trade or even kill the piggy. No need to run away and give a free trade.
That works wonders until she gets 6 and then you become the zoned. Good illaois use their ult to zone tf out of you and guarantee they kill the soul, if you try to fight in multiple tentacles you’re fucked

@@Ash-my4gf I think it's always good to go ult for ult with Illaoi vs Sett, her ult is more valuable than yours in a 1v1
Make her burn ult and use your ult as a disengage or something and then zone off, then fight her when you regen up

Is there a reason he kept not making use of Demolish? He should've gotten T1 turret way earlier in the game than he did, he missed at least 3 chances at Demolish by 10 mins.
yes, if you dont kill the turret you trap your lane oppent in the lane with you for longer, illao could not match darius and so he was getting denied cs the longer he stayed 1v1
By killing t1 too early, Illaoi would’ve free farmed with no pressure at t2.

Darius is pretty good against illaoi but not as good as you think, there is only one counter to her and that’s Yorick. I never ban Morde cause I can easily play around his ult, I can’t play around Yorick tho
Illaoi vsDarius is and was always an impossible lane for darius. I can go 1/5 and still still solo kill him if darius don’t get rid of tentacles.

illoai is just busted now lol seen her full build vs me and my team i have smolder fiora blitz and hec(me) I am full build and fiora is half item off full she is full build and killed 3 of us and since we were in our base i got to heal to full like 3 times in the fight (we had antiheal)

Love Alois but low elo players are less than likely able to follow up with the lead you created by getting fed I've had so many hard carry games yet team still performs shitty, high elo or at least gold and up are probably better in terms of getting team who is knowledgeable but in my elo enemy team turbo Smurf lvl 30 and my top laner somehow loses playing ranged top
if you're in low elo you can win solo i had 20 kill talon ff cuz i'm too fed if you are as good as you think you are it's free af

As an Illaoi main, I really think that Illaoi got a bit too overconfident. She would have been in a better position if she had played safer, forfeited the first waves, reach lvl 3, then start chipping away your hp bar and any further incoming wave. Two well positioned tentacles gives a lot of wave clear.
She's overtuned, I admit, but it's not an impposible matchup.
