PSA: Yorick has been able to solo baron at 20 for about 6 seasons, this isn't some new tech with the buffs that's just been found. This has always been a staple part of Yorick's kit, just letting people know before they start clamoring for the nerf hammer.

We lost Malzahar jungle because "he could solo drake too fast with his W". But somehow Yorick doing exactly the same thing while pushing 2 lanes at once is ok.

If anyone is wondering why the ghouls don't finish the krugs, the ghouls won't automatically target monsters like they do for minions meaning they will only attack things that have been marked by e. Since the rest of the krugs only spawn upon death of the bigger krugs, the mark disappears on them and they won't finish it
Theres so many things you can still learn, such a cool champ. For example, if you have 4 ghouls and you E a target, but lets say, you have 4 graves behind you (from pushing wave), After throwing e, walk out of ghoul range and then double cast Q to get 8 ghouls that jump on them
Also, ghouls can easily solo dragon, lets say when you did that maiden play, you have 4 ghouls and go and e dragon then release maiden and tp top (out of ghoul leesh range) and they will do the whole dragon while you are pushing top and bot. Thats 3 things they need to cover from you alone

Tip: if you have 4 minions, land your E, wait for them to jump (which deals like 40% extra damage) and then ult, the new minions you spawn for the ult will jump as well
Hey Alois, just wanted to say that just by watching your shorts and some gameplay videos, I've gotten so much better at toplane fundamentos that it's actually kinda crazy. Even just thinking to myself "What would Alois do in this situation?" leads to much better plays than I would've normally made.

You can keep playing it, but I faced many Yoricks, that I adapted to that, believe me it is funny, bullying him with my setup, so it makes it easier to climb imo. Only downside obviously is people perma push on Yorick which is fucking annoying tho.

yorick is really good aslong as u dont have to lane vs fiora, trynd, jax, atrox, gnar, shyvana, irelia, gp, yone basically 90% of popular toplane champs
all these matchups are playable if you’re really good with Yorick (slogdog is a good teacher)

YOu can use quick cast with indicators on yorick's e to make it easier to aim.

Yorick's W is a literal wall, so you can corner enemies, or block corridors.
As someone who also plays yorick, it is quite hard to land e when the enemy learns how to move side to side since it is long but thin. Thats why i always try use w on them first before using e
Alois try Swiftness boots in Yorick, especially playing lethality they are the best boots because they give your ghouls more MS as well as

hey man, try the new hail of blade tech for the rick, the three hit combo auto Q profane hydra active to proc hob deal so much damage you're gonna 1 shot ppl and they're still gonna wonder wth just happend, play with all chat on, it's hillarious. The lethality yorick effect
btw yorick can solo drake with only gouls you just get 3-4 ghouls and E on drake and go mind your business but i dont remember how much items you need

If you are going to build lethality you should be spending much less time in melee, really dip in and out with Q's while your maiden and ghouls bully them. You get real squishy as lethality

You can even solo Baron with two items as long as the otherone has omnivamp. ex. ravenous hydra, black cleaver or even ravenous hydra and sun fire
There us nothing that gives omnivamp when fighting baron. Only lifesteal items.

I was up 15 kills on a 1-15 yorick and he was able to fully ignore my damage while one shotting me and every tower on the map. It's just pre nerf trundle with another champ at his side.
Yorick has been broken since his lethality meta. He is able to win against almost all non direct counters after eclipse.

1:25 don't do that, don't ward IN FRONT of the enemy jungler, with that information, he can take a detour and gank you because you don't have a ward anymore, you're not Alois, you're going to tilt and call it jungle gap
Could also just let 4 ghouls run down lane hitting enemies minions and then take the golems yourself with maiden, spawning 4 new ones

he gets enough speed from the magic base boots plus approach velocity that he doesn't need them fully upgraded most of the time to catch up to enemies plus e slows and wall give yorick more wiggle room to work around the slower movement speed so sometimes it just more worth it to keep getting components or finishing items.
