The real genius of Graham Norton is he can have all these different actors on his show and get them to relate to one another. It creates some of the best moments of the show.
That's why I put him above others. He has to keep everyone involved. Genius is the right word. I hope he has won many awards.
I prefer this to most American talk shows that only have their guest one at a time. Graham gets all of his guests out on the same sofa

I admire Graham's ability to have such a diverse set of celebrities on his show and still conduct an interview far more entertaining than any Jimmy Fallon or Kimmel
He makes them feel right at home in "his living-room", and they open up. Then they all have a private little party while the camera rolls. Works every time.
Oh now, let's not put down others because they're different. I remember Arsenio who in the most casual and fun interviews, would get people to spill the beans on their own lives like NO other interviewer... I remember Jack Paar, who may have been the original all American Graham Norton. I've loved them all, BOTH JIMMYS included. It's like comparing flowers... mf, they're all beautiful.

this is by some margin my favorite talk show. it's energetic, funny and fresh... and that's not even taking into account the sort of communal celebrity couch, where equal attention is paid to all, so long as they bring something interesting to the conversation. you so RARELY see that. actually, you NEVER see that - democratic celebrity.
And the guests do seem to be having fun while doing it. But maybe that's related to all the alcohol being served.

Brilliant example of why this show works so well, four guests all chatting together and being gently prompted into stories they likely had no intention of telling.
Martin Freeman was standing in front of me in the queue at Harry Potter studios and I was so surprised I just said ‘is that Martin Freeman!’ And he looked at me and no one around me knew who he was so I just pretended it never happened LMFAO.

Graham is such an insanely talented interviewer. Like I know that he (like most interviewers) uses cue cards, yet right in the moment he still remembers little details about each person in random topics to bring up to them. And he’s also just so good at politely bringing every single member into the conversation. Seriously one of the best ❤️
The first movie I saw Martin Freeman in was A Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy, and I absolutely loved it. Then fast forward a few years later, I see him in Fargo playing an innocent looking murderer lol
