I hope talent doesnt get hit. Its so annoying that decks can have so many 1 card combos and have 20+ non engine (most of which are hand traps). There should SOME punish to be running 20 hand traps.
I'm with you on that one. If komoney is gunna hit either talents or thrust on a future list, give us called by back to 2 or 3 (or more monster negations, but not ones that can be abused) so we can still punish hand traps just as frequently because hand traps need more counterplay. 20+ hand trap lists contribute to killing the format and making deckbuilding unhealthy.
I'm in the camp where it probably deserves to be banned along with Thrust if we're keeping it real, but I love both of them so much I hope they never go. Talent specifically is basically an automatic 3-of in any deck I build
I've been dropping evenly matched against SO many people and it's been god tier for me over the past few weeks and loving it. People aren't ending on desirae as much to negate it, and Maliss literally has to blow all their traps on the spot if they can't negate it with desavewurm. No better feeling than declaring "end of BP" and watching your opponent regret overextending and getting punished by it when you evenly them for their life savings. Against Ryzeal they lose literally everything, their cross, plugin if set, and all they keep is either deto or another duo drive if they didn't go fiendsmith combo first. No better feeling than resolving that card.
Keep the great content coming, @GGYGO! My Opinion: 1. As a control/stun player, "Evenly Matched" is a mandatory 3-of in my Side Deck. I have won so many games as a result of the card. 2. With #1 being said, I do have to add that it does help to have an additional Board Breaker - just in case the opponent has a negate for the first Board Breaker. (Yes, it can be "hit or miss" - as GGYGO stated.)
Any recommendations for a subsitute for nib? I don't lile the conflict in floo. Shut down my summoning on the other players turn after I cleared their board.

something people overlook about eclipse, is that sometimes you can use it on your turn to dodge a veiler/imperm, on something like duodrive for example

Cause Nib alone is bad vs Fiendsmith Ryzeal since they do Nib check and even if you nib them they will do Full Ryzeal Combo after that also vs Pure Ryzeal Nib is also bad when it’s your only handtrap. It’s only good against maliss but even then they can play through nib with 1 extender?
Nibiru is always great when paired with another hand trap but if it's your only hand trap in the main then it's better to go with something lingering like droll since you want more impactful cards.

I'd like some clarification why you aren't a fan of droplet if possible. If you know what to hit, droplet can be pretty brutal in my experience. Against Ryzeal, hitting detonator and/or ceaser with droplet leaves them reliant on cross and any non-engine they drew to do the heavy lifting, they also cannot bring back detonator with plugin since its just negated on their board. Hitting what Maliss brings back off of GWC is also strong. They can't use Desavewurm to protect what they bring back (which is usually white binder) either if you send a monster. Droplet has won me a good amount of games personally so I'm just curious if I'm missing something regarding it.
Droplet it isn’t bad this format at all, I think GGYGO tries to make the tier lists as generic as possible. I think if your deck plays well with droplet and can auto lose to things like abyss dweller you absolutely play it.
Grind format is a fair point, though you don't need to send one of each type every time. You just need to send the type of card you don't want them to respond with on the chain. Usually sending a monster for detonator is a pretty safe bet to keep it glued to the field with no effect as an example.

Could you explain why super poly isn’t good? Desirae+ detonator = mudragon. Maliss = earth golem and can’t be responded to by the desavewurm . Tenpai = garura.
I would think because it takes all the extra deck space to run it effectively. Like no way I can put that into fs ryzeal. It's too tight. But if you are playing branded or something, card is probably crazy

Only thing is once they know you're on it, they can tailor their board to avoid it. Another target against maliss would be world legacy guardragon almarduke

I believe its mainly because ryzeal doesn't try to end on desirae usually, it's usually high king ceasar + detonator. Super poly doesn't do much of anything to maliss since they only GWC when necessary. Some decks are incredibly reliant on their spells resolving, and if desavewurm is the gatekeeper for that, you want a card that is flexible that can remove terahertz by itself, not waiting for the opponent to activate GWC in order for them to put another body on the board for you to super poly with. At that point, bystials would be a better out to desavewurm than super poly. I can't comment much on tenpai, the ones I play against keep folding to one interaction.
Gg u ever like scrub a tourney but feel like u played the best like last night, I went 1-1-2 and both losses were to malice I don’t have lancea and it’s a lot to deal with when I don’t see any sided cards the theory I tested worked

Half the time they do nib check with 2 level 6 just to make desirae and not make ddd

Maliss usually ends on one Firewall and a bunch of sets. And another commenter mentioned that Ryzeal usually sits on Caesar + Detonator
