Badplaas Forever Resort I Mpumalanga I What to Expect...🏊‍♂️

It’s been more than a decade since my last visit to Badplaas Forever Resort. As I’m chatting away while I’m booking in, I thought I’d enquire about the changes since my last visit. To my surprise, I was told nothing changed. MMMmmm… it looked a lot different since my last visit. Maybe I partied too hard.🥳 Anyways to me, there was a lot to see and do. Let’s get to it ...
Where:
Badplaas is situated in Mpumalanga. It’s about a three and half hour drive from Gauteng depending on where you come from. Mostly highway and then there is this part from the highway past Carolina to Badplaas which I found quite scenic. Lots of trees all around.
Accommodation:
Badplaas has a lot to offer in terms of accommodation. There is a Hotel, a Guest House for bigger groups (10 people), Chalets (2 - 4 people), Log Cabins (6 people), Rondavels (4 people), and for the more adventurous type, there are Camping & Caravanning sites. There you have communal cooking facilities and ablution blocks.
During our visit, we stayed at one of the Economy Rondavels and made use of the ablutions blocks. These units are ideal if you are just passing through and staying for a night or two. The communal cooking facilities and ablution blocks are clean, everything works and it looks like it’s been recently upgraded. I know this is a big must for the camping and caravanning community. I think they will approve.

As you can see, there is a lot to do. We did not have enough time to test all of it. However, at
I think Badplaas has a lot to offer and you can easily spend a week there having lots of fun and resting. Overall we enjoyed our visit. Give them a go...🤓

Oppidam. It's not to far from Badplaas. Ideal for Camping & Watersports.
