Good luck with the wind turbines in the weather you’re having. You’ll be doing a lot of repairs ;-)
Maybe it’ll be worth putting up a load of platinum lightening rods connected to some batteries :-)

I was thinking of wind turbines because that's what I have on Olympus and Prometheus. I have about 15-20 and even unrepaired they generate enough to cover my needs. When they get bellow 50% I'll repair them (maybe - haven't done that yet) if I run out of power. Nevertheless with the storms in this area it will be a little more of a challenge, maybe I'll have to repair them weekly. With the introduction of the lighting rods I was thinking at 6-8 big batteries, a few of those and the usual 16-20 windmills. We'll see I guess. Thanks for being here @vikingbrit270.

I remember struggling to get resources in that area. I was happy when I got deep mining set up although I created my OW before oxite deep mining was a thing and I don’t have any titanium nearby either (I occasionally bring a load of titanium ingots in from my Riverlands base). If I could be bothered to rebuild everything I’d do what you’ve done and scope out the deep mining nodes in advance. Despite the lack of resources it is definitely the best starting point for most Olympus missions.

I'm pretty sure I'll have to go a few long ways to get resources as well, luckily when I'll get to deep ore mining all that will be over for me because I have almost everything I need nearby. And the starting point it's pretty good as well if you drop down with a full grown character, for beginner I think my old spot it's better because of the abundancy of surface nodes.
