I’m from Chicago and I definitely get the school stuff… it’s funny because sometimes we’d go to school in a blizzard… but I feel like snow days ended a long time ago which is sad that these kids nowadays will never get to experience a snow day 😢 just weird because Chicago public schools and the teachers union is so greedy and money driven that they’re like no days off unless they strike and they would go on strike almost every other year which is stupid because yeah the kids would be off school for however long the teachers went on strike, but the kids would end up having to make that up and extend the school year into the summer and then they’d start at the same time next year
