Guys I'm looking forward to a fighting game to love. To play a lot offline (and maybe some online, although it's not my thing), unlock stuff, and that doesn't have predatory micro-transactions. I see the "Deluxe" version of this game is on sale right now. Should I get it? Does this version include this character already? I also see it has a "mostly positive" rating on Steam (the game), why is it? It seems very good. Thank you! Your opinions will help me decide whether I get it today or not.
The Deluxe version from my understanding contains the entire first set of dlc characters - including Vikala as she's the last one from that set. There is some content you can only get online, but all the story content and arcade mode can be done offline. I've seen the same sale, if it helps, there's a free demo so you can go and give it a look yourself before committing, just make sure you decide before Nov 6.
The most it has with microtransactions is a fairly lax in playtime asked battlepass and a few lobby avatar packs. Unfortunately they don't currently have any way to obtain items from old battle passes but it is something they were planning on making available again.

The deluxe edition includes all the characters from this season which Vikala also counts in. It's a great and pretty easy to get into fighting game!
