- At the LA Grand Prix, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone ran the 200m with the 2nd fastest time in the world so far, 22.07. Will Sydney try running other events like the 200m or the 400m after this Olympics?

so sick of these blown up video titles.
🤣😅🤣😂🤣🤣😂laughing at the title and walking right on by
Watch the full thing and your mind might be changed...
Take it easy boys, very good athlete, but from that to be the greatest ever, there's a looooong way to go.
People are prisoners of the moment.
She’s is definitely up there she’s probably only lost two to three races since she’s gone pro. Every time she touches the track a crazy time will be ran
I think we need to keep things in check a little here. It's one race and I don't think it's as impressive as everyone is claiming. I'm quite sure she was capable of running low 22's one, two maybe even three years ago - she just hasn't been running them. Meaning talk of her now going sub 50 (400mh) on the basis of a performance she was likely capable of in 2022 is I think a little premature. Also, if we were to run this race 10 times over the next 3 months SM I think we would get a truer idea of the pecking order. To me it was just one of those races where everyone seemed a little below par - it happens.
Easy fellas…
There is no exaggeration here. She is the GOAT of All GOATS. The only thing they have gotten wrong is her name. She is La Cid a Diva that Zuse tossed off earth into the stars. She is a new constellation in the sky.
The question is why? The answer is well known to us all:
She is the fastest person from 200 to 800 in recorded history.
She can. The rest of us can't.
Acceptance of reality is real.
One of the greatest Female runners I've ever seen in my life and all people can show and talk about is ShaCarri Richardson who doesnt even win most high level meets. I cant remember the last time i saw Sydney lose even a race.
Good point (first point). Second point - SCR races WAY more than Sydney so it's much harder for her to not lose versus SM who rarely races.
3 letters: JJK
Man you really don't know your stat cmon now...50.68 is the WR...you have a podcast about track do better
Ran a 400 hurdle faster than most pro women can run an open 400m. Then jumped in the open 400 and beat ppl there too. Then beat ppl in the 200m too. She didnt just break the record, she obliterated it. Sad she doesnt get her recognition
Yes, she very well may become the greatest EVER. She has some business to take care of. 400 hurdles sub 50. 400 flat WR smashed, like 47.40. Then if she could drop down to the 200 and go 21.6. She would be the greatest EVER. I think she's curious and competitive enough to want it all. I don't see her being picked for the 4x100 though.
She isn't even the greatest track athlete ever. Come on now 😂
You clearly don't know anything about track and field.
@@TCthaCrisis bruh. She isn't the greatest track athlete ever. She is one of the greatest. But not the greatest. To call her the greatest is premature. That puts her ahead of Usain Bolt himself.
Shes not even in the argument of greatest ever calm down
@@Chem-vw6oh one world silver. One world Gold. One Olympic gold. And they're putting her over the likes of Bolt, Kipyegon and Hassan
@@panashenhavira7116I’ll put McLaughlin up there with these three if she competes in the 200 m and the 400 m next year at worlds and wins gold!!
She would be crushed in the 200m.
idk, I think if she shifts focus she could be elite.
Man she's super-duper in my 📖 book & so relaxed & soooo smooth like flowing olive 🫒 oil out of one bottle to 🍼 another with absolutely no mess or a drop wasted & her "🫡Mechanics😘", man she's just as good as "Eliane's" form in my opinion, her coach is doing a super great job with her!!! Amen & Amen & Amen 🙏!!!
She has a world record, but she is not the greatest T&F athlete ever. I guess Usain Bolt and Carl Lewis were a figment of our imagination.
Not the greatest now, but she could get there.
Sorry but totally agree she is the greatest all time! But she does not run for goal medals or breaking world records! She is one of those very special athletes that come around every hundred years! She runs for the glory of God! Listen to her speak of her faith and how she is letting God lead her to greater heights and inspiration! I make a prediction for the Olympics in Paris! Sydney will run below 50 seconds for the 400 hurdles! She is at 50.6 but will top that with a 49.9!
MCLAUGHLIN'S RULE!
Chill out. She didn’t even break 22 seconds.. idk what all this excitement is for as if she ran a 21.8
She run the 400mh so 22.0 is super fast
@@lesprinteur3144 I mean you have multiple athletes that can run fast in multiple events. Gabby Thomas runs a 21.60 in 200, 49.6 in 400m and a 11.0 sec 100m. Shericka Jackson runs a 49.4 400m, 21.45 200m and a 10.7 100m…. Those are all a greater depth than a 400mh, flat 400 and 200m. She did great, but all this extra greatest of all time talk is doing too much
@@islander5334 Sherika 400m was when she was doing the 400m I don't think that at the moment she is able to run 49....so that not the same thing
@@islander5334 Btw Sydney can run 12.70 in the 100mh so with that her depth is big big basically from 100m to 400m she is great + the hurdle
@@lesprinteur3144 12.7 isn’t impressive. The world record is at 12.12 now. A 12.70 doesn’t qualify at the olympics final. Still a good time though
Greatest for a female but can never be the greatest track and field athlete ever. Can she defeat Ashton Eaton in any track and field event.?
Comparing a female hurdler to a male decathlete LOL.
@@wilhelmw3455 If the host are referring to her as the greatest track and field athlete of all time. she will have to be compared with the male competitors for such a title.
Not even for females yet.
BOLT is GOAT...lets get serious here.
She could take the thrown if she plays her cards right
