Totally agree that it's the experience of having to build the kit that makes a Tamiya what it's about, getting to know how it all works and setting it up how you prefer. There's something very satisfying about putting everything together and getting to test your building skills. It's the satisfaction that knows no bounds. 😊😊😊😊😊
Blimey, I had completely forgot about country dancing at Primary school! Saw a couple of Popalong stickers at Stevenage RC racing last night. Word is spreading chaps.
I had managed to banish the memory of Primary school Country dancing to the deepest and darkest recesses of my brain....... UNTIL NOW..... and now I wont be able to afford an XV02 Pro due to the counselling I will have to stump up for !!!!
superb car. use longer shock ends and get a weapon of a rallye car (more travel). 13.5t motor and it rips on a local buggy track. Just update the steering linkage to aluminium, the pastic will break very easy.
I used to like tamiya, the building blocks of life. But I've been turning to scale trucks and buggies from vanquish now. More expensive but a new experience
Would love to see you guys review some of the Tamiya copies on Ali express/bang good and others . They have full Ali and carbon Tt-01,Tt-02 and some of the trfs would be interesting to see how to compare to the real things
That is easier to build than the xv-01 but has a lesser front weight bias i like the xv01 better but a local track opened here tamiya parts only so got that instead of a tt02 xv01 i have with non tamya parts ta08 to expensive mine has ti screws and rollbars since limited motor to a torque tuned

People tend to forget that with Tamiya it is about building the cars as much as it is about driving/racing them.

Always good viewing with you guys. Merry Christmas!
Bituminous is what we use to glue reflectors to the asphalt.

Vanquish products vs4 10 platform and optic h10 . 👌
Hi Guys, this kit is the RS(road spec) chassis, we didnt have just the pro chassis in for your rally collection.
keep up the good work
At least if Carl builds it, it will actually get done ;) It does look like a very nice kit albeit a tiny bit pricey....
Morning gents… Merry Christmas 👍👍

It’s a rally car. TRF 421 is the touring car
XV02 raced up against a 3s carpet Xmaxx... 🤔🤔😉😉😂😂
Haha.....It was called 'Barn Dancing' at my school.....hated it too, I always ended up with a girl the size of a 'real' women with big sweaty hands 😂

Struggling to understand why one would need prodding to build the Cougar kit. I would need restraining not to!
