My favourite band ever 😭😍 So random, though 😂 They're from Newcastle / Jarrow, btw Also finally some appreciation for Rob's vocals! The entire package is so unique that we kind of neglect each part of the whole. They're each amazing on their own part.
Just dropping by to let you know Diana Ankudinova's newest performance just dropped this past weekend. Since it's part of another competitive singing event and hosted by the HTB (NTV) network channel you'll have to use a clever blur effect along the outer margins as a transparent crop of the border to avoid the big bad algo. As usual her harmonics and polyphonic sound make your eyes and ears fight each other while your brain sits there saying "I don't know what's happening". She has worked hard on her head voice, relying less on her unusually thick falsetto or the yodel technique. Though both are still a major part of her style in general, because why not, she really wanted to show off her head voice in this one. The chilling low notes and mind altering harmonics are present as well. There will be new performances each weekend. It's 10 singers a more typical point system, but the singers are also the judges. Diana has a healthy lead after this weekend's performance, but she has some decent competition from some of the male singers (one is a trained opera singer). I think she needs the competition, it'll keep her honest and she has the talent and work ethic. Her English diction has gotten better too.
