You do realise that once you drive an automatic, you'll never go back to manual! LOL. We have some epic dunes near Atlantis down the road from us - was there a few years ago when our son attended a sandboarding birthday party there. The dunes are STEEEEP and an adrenaline rush was guaranteed. Sandboarding is lots of fun. Loved the farm you guys visited .. yep, I can concur that it does remind me of the KZN, South Coast which we'll be at in Dec. Enjoy the new ride!

Hi guys, the best views you will see in NZ are in the South Island. I am not being biased just because I live in Invers. Wait till you see Milford and Queenstown. Also Alexandra will remind you of the Karoo. Something for you to plan for in the future. Four years ago we hired a Toyota Corolla at Auckland Airport and travelled from Whangarei all the way up to Cape Reinga. We did however take the day trip from Kaitaia on the 90 mile beach bus.It was great.
