WOW!!!! Thanks BA for allowing King Shaka to show it's full potential. I'll be coming up from the south coast to see this baby in the flesh. Can't wait.
absolutely stunning!!! My son has taken the most fantastic pics of this beautiful plane today :) Lets hope that BA will make Durban its destination from London and not only Emirates!
At some point I believe they did, but since BA franchise with Comair I think direct international to Durban has become a bit of a conflict of interest for them.
AngelMedia I think I remember them being there once, pity they can't fly it down like Turkish and Qatar do from Joburg, great capture! I would love to see more videos if you plan to go capture some there
29° 37.775'S, 31° 6.422'E ,,,I hope that helps. ACSA chased me away eventually sighting a need for a permit. Weird since its not even on their property and on some sugar cane field.
Ahh I wondered. Doing comparisons of other international airports, this is surely the most inaccessible to the public for viewing arrivals and departures. At least at DI we could go upstairs. In any case...even more well done to you for getting this footage.

It was certainly the quietest aircraft there.....almost no noise on take-off.
В Пулково тоже когда-то прилетал, провели инаугурацию, всё как положено, с тех пор больше не прилетает
I remember this Aircraft flying very low over Durban Umhlanga. 😍 bring it back BA
What a beautiful plane. It felt like it was so low over my house, but in actual fact it was just so big!!

I think we all want this. I think that route to London would almost certainly be profitable to the airline that takes it up.
I reckon so too and lets hope that this happens.
+AngelMedia did they not operate at all to the old airport?
