By the way, 4D miner doesn't tell you how to get started, but since you don't have any 4D objects of your own yet, you can do nothing but break leaves to try and get a hyper-stick. from there you can dig dirt and kill Hyper-spiders to get a 4-ball rock and some hyper-silk for a hammer, from there it's like your minecraft playthrough but 4D, as you can mine ores with that.
Also, items that drop may vanish out of view because they had a 4D component to their drop vector, so be aware of that.

Punch Trunk is indeed based on a Looney Tunes cartoon by Chuck Jones, the audio is lifted right out of it. Kind of bewildering someone would go out of their way to develop a game based on that cartoon out of any of the other ones. I suppose the concept lends itself the best to a Goose Game, Goat Simulator-esque romp.
Public domain can be a beautiful thing... not sure if it applies here, though.

1:18:19 unless there's some kind of freak savannah or rainforest peanut I haven't heard of, peanuts are not native to any of the areas elephants are native to, so it's pretty far down on their list of things elephants generally like to eat. people would feed elephants peanuts 100 or so years ago when "animal rights" meant "making a right turn with your dog in the car," so elephants would eat them because, well, they were hungry. that said, they might like the enrichment from shelling peanuts, but it doesn't seem to compare to the kinds of toys captive elephants are given according to modern care standards.

the association probably also comes from peanuts being a classic fair snack before popcorn was popularized, meaning everybody would always have big bags of the stuff on-hand at places like zoos and circuses where they might see elephants.

Y'know, that bird game reminds me of my dream project I had back between 2006 and 2010 that I never got to make, partly because the tech wasn't available for me then, where I was trying to make a 1:1 simulation of a small particular piece of land in northern Ontario, Canada, and you get to move around in it and see different things interact. I wanted a full ecosystem at work, including a microscopic layer. Hmm...

It seems like the thing that most games with playable/rideable birds get wrong is the fact that no bird except the kolibri can hover or fly straight up/down. They're always in motion and the closest I've seen any game come to replicating how it probably feels to be a bird is community created ornithopters in Besiege.

@@smcb9979 They absolutely did. The creator has a channel of nothing but FNAF and Minecraft animations they made. The game is designed to pander/market to kids, despite being a horror game. The game even has a 'Merch' button that takes you to their online shop. It's kinda gross.

That 4D Miner game is really interesting, it's almost as if the game has a set of different worlds all slightly varied from one another and as you scroll the mousewheel it sort of transitions slowly between the terrain of two adjacent worlds until you fully enter the terrain of the new 3D space, then it goes onto the next one. Call it a "delta axis" of vision, you can see the transitory state between worlds as you hop from one set of terrain to the next seamlessly.

as a 3D being, you can only see a cross section of 4D space
without moving along the 4th axis, nothing changes, but if you move along that 4th dimension you see different cross section of space.
you cannot see the 4th dimension but you do exist in it, just only on 3 axis, much like a 2D character can only move and see on 2 axis.
Depending on which school of theoretical physics you follow we do perceive four dimensions. Time is the fourth dimension. So you have X, Y, Z, and S.

Pretty sure that Bird game is basically a "Zen" game. You play it to relax pretty much.
I mean that's always a good excuse for just not taking the effort to make actual gameplay. That one is cool and well-done for what it is, but still.

My understanding of the 4d Miner game is that you essentially have 3 worlds that overlap. One is stable and is where the player exsists.
The other 2 worlds can rotate individualy.
The stable world is formed when the other two worlds interact.

i feel like the 4d minecraft game clicked with me in the last 2 minutes. it seems to rotate the 4th dimensional world around your character and segment the two words at evenly spaced intervals, i might try it
In 4D Miner, you can only break leaves with your bare hands to get sticks, then with sticks you can break dirt to get rocks and kill spiders for silk, and then, with all those items, you can craft a hammer to harvest wood, stone, and ore. Also, you should actually play the tutorial instead of skimming it, it gives a pretty good explanation of what is going on.

You can’t scroll the spiders away, they are still there even if you can’t see them. Just because you are looking one direction doesn’t make things in other directions go away. Scrolling doesn’t move you away or change the world, it only changes what part of the world you currently see/ what direction you are facing

holy hell. I just got back form 7-eleven, it's midnight, this video was paused so i started wtching again an it was at the Anything Gallery with the creepy-ass AI images and then the no snake hotel, and the video genuinely glitched out. it went fuzzy except for the top saying "Find room 100" and then that top part stayed frozen while the rest moved n after gltching a bit. thought it was part f the video until i rewound and realized it wasn't. TF youtube! stop tryna spok tf outta me!
