I freaking LOVE your animation style and flair.

This was a recommended video. I literally thought I was watching a video from someone with several million subs or from a high end TH-cam designer thing. Wow this is fantastic!
The particle clip was 14 hours at 4K resolution. Smoke simulations were varying from 12 to 36 hours in 1080p. But the longest render time here was the Bitcoin clip, rendered at 4K with 3x 1080ti, it took over 54 hours!! It was the glass door material that required a lot of samples.
Don't worry a 1080Ti will get you super far! A pretty significant piece of the render times will often be loading stuff into VRAM and other stuff where additional GPUs won't help
I’m mad at the people who disliked this video. I use Blender to make things too and it’s really hard. I envy anyone who takes the time to do this much animation. Good job man

Yeah, it definitely looks way better on an OLED display with HDR 10 compatibility, true blacks with bright whites. Depends on the display tho, mine has like 800 nits of peak brightness and it should look way better on brighter displays

love that you rendered these for HDR back in 2018. you may know that Vimeo now supports dolly vision, so that may be some help for a true HDR upload. looking at this on a MacBook M1 and the renders look intense. great work

I must say: HDR render on an OLED screen with a decent refresh rate and a nice PPI usualy makes me really happy But this, especially the turning cube thing at the beginning are just gorgeous

The blender work isnt something we need to talk about, its top tier - but I have to say, your sounddesign is always so incredibly great, I notice it on every of your videos, this one in particular hooked me on a new level! Many people might not always know or understand what amount of work is behind such a perfectly smooth audio sync.
