Who are Kara and Nate?!

Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married 2013 and were super “normal.” I was a teacher and Nate started a small printing business from the spare bedroom of our apartment. We discovered the world of “travel hacking” & became obsessed. So after 2 years of obsessively saving $35k and over 2 million miles and points, we sold our cars and apartment and left home January 10, 2016 for a “one year” trip around the world. Our goal was to see as many places as possible before we ran out of money and went home to “normal life.” We started this travel vlog to share our experiences with friends and family, but quickly fell in love with this lifestyle and did everything we could to keep going. 4 years later, we achieved our new goal of visiting 100 countries and all 7 continents. We had no plans to slow down, until 2020 forced us to ;) Which is when we bought a converted van to start exploring our own country for the first time. Van life was a major adjustment and so different than flying every week like we were used to, but we are incredibly thankful to be able to continue doing something we love every day. 😊🎥🌎

I never knew that mountain was so difficult to hike. I watch Cecilia hike that on her channel often and she makes it look so easy and quick. I think you just gave a much more realistic look at it.
WHO DOESN'T KNOW THAT EXPRESSION?!? lol... Cecilia having to explain it so many times was amazing. I love her pointing to the camera and saying 'You guys get it!!' That whole conversation relaxed my body!
It did the opposite for me … I was like nervous for her like why isn’t she getting it . I’m a British born Indian living in America and I would recognize that expression in any joke. I thought everyone did 🙃

I like Kara’s personality a lot. Always smiling, laughing and making a great vibe around her . Even without sunlight at all, she is emitting sun energy on her own.
And I believe Cecilia really enjoyed that "sunlight" from Kara.
Yes she has a terrific upbeat personality, she combines femineity and gentleness with strength and toughness.

Loved this video. This was so cool and interesting to learn about how they are able to live in such a remote and cold environment. Their “cabin” was so well done, looks almost like a house you’d see down the street with the additional of anti-polar bear doors and incinerating toilet! The view from that mountain looking down on the town was magical 💫
