They're all such great tools, sometimes i'm not sure which to carry hahahaa

@@infogear6145 of course they're. For the time being I'm using my wave+. Actually for my needs they're already sufficient, but no harm in having something new 😂😂😂

@@fazlelazim7204 the wave + is already a superb tool bro. If you've already got either a wave or a surge, the p4 seems more extravagant than necessary

I am surprised that there are rubber and plastic parts. I use my pliers directly in the fire when I am cooking outdoors.

Good first impressions video. Leatherman recommends opening the Free P4 inner tools (e.g., screwdriver, file, ...) using your thumb. You were trying to open them from the wrong end. You shouldn't need to use your fingernails to open them unlike the Swisstool. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for sharing that with us. Yes, i think it is easier (and less painful) to deploy those tools with the thumb.

Some people will find that tiny ruler on the P4 useful, it's the right size needed for bolts and nuts.
It is a bit stupid though that they didn't make it a micro ruler

I still prefer the victorinox swisstool and spirit. I also have the surge with all the accessories it’s kind in cumbersome to use. I’m sticking with victorinox. Victorinox has a lifetime warranty.

They're all excellent tools at the end of the day, it just boils down to personal preference.

      Victorinox life warranty suck.
Months and months of time for repair and questions and fotos etc.
Leatherman :nominal is 25 years but is really lifetime.
You send a broken leatherman and they repair or change for free WITHOUT QUESTIONS!!!
      NOT COMPARABLE WITH VICTORINOX WARRANTY.

They need to get rid of the scissors and put a full size Phillips head driver in. Those compressed designs strip screws.

Whats up with the weird camera?

No bit adapter, no win. Real shame! Would’ve been a wave killer.

I agree. No bit adapter was a huge mistake. The magnetic action is great, but the smaller tools are not well-planned.

Everyone with this obsession with stiff leatherman pliers !!
In 3 days of cutting hard cables, they become super loose. Even too much!!
All the leatherman you show on youtube stiff, you have almost never used them !!
All my leathermen become super loose in 3 days of use! And in a month they take even a bad play! Stop
    And swisstool the same.
The swisstool in the video hasn't cut more than 10 hard cables in his life, otherwise he would be super loose.
