Wow! You are out there in the rain getting your nice FXs all wet. Now make a video showing how you care for them following a hunt in the rain. I've done that with my PBs while deer hunting and it sucks having to totally disassemble the weapon and remove all the moisture. Geo from MI

If the flashlight is spooking the birds indoors your camera should be able to pick up an IR illuminator. It’ll be a little harder to see where you’re shining it, but it might be a better option. Keep doing what you do!! 👍👍
Sweet shooting guys, I am really digging the Mav's. Those chairs are pretty cool too although I can see that my oversize carcass would probably push it down in to the mud anyways......lol. I picked up a BOG deathGrip a while ago (saw it on your video) and have really been enjoying it, works best for me if I have a ledge or wall to lean against which goes along with techniques you always point out. Haven't seen any rat videos so am assuming you have had no change in luck in that regard. Recently, I also picked up the Caldwell precision turret shooting rest which I first saw Rick Rehm using and man I really like that. Using it off the hood of my car for night rat shooting. The cant adjustment easily counters slope of the hood. Not what I would call easily portable though....Loved the video.

Can't hardly beat a good ol fashioned 5 gallon bucket to sit on for us HEAVY hitters lol I just duct tape some heavy weight foam on the lid and your set. And then you have a handy way of packing out the dead vermin.

We’re you all using .30 cal inside the barn or did you change out the barrel for a smaller caliber? That fluorescent paint on the pellets is freaking awesome🤙
Yeah great video guys , but for knees that don’t bend so great anymore...that chair needs about 12 to 13 inches of clearance between your butt and the ground ...with that improvement you’ld have it going on...keep’em coming , love the slo-mo shots afterward 👍👍👍

We use the app “shooter”. I just recorded tonight a podcast with “the airgun podcast” on ballistic programs. Should be out within a week. Check out that podcast in general some great info

If you had to shoot for accuracy at 75 yards which of those two guns would you choose, the one shooting hybrids or the one shooting the pellets? (No wind)
I ordered the impact mk2 per your advice, it’s bad ass! I’ve shot slugs through my dreampup, boss, wildcat and none of them shot worth a sh/%. I shot the hybrids through the impact with the superior liner and it was actually pretty good at only 880fps. I was shocked because of how bad the hybrids were in the other guns. The boss is a 30 cal also but it has the old smooth twist barrel(no liner). The superior liner in the impact must be the determining factor. I just wish I had 2 mk2’s, one with a pellet tune and one with a slug tune. I’m looking forward to the 39 grain hybrids when they are released, hoping to get the speed above 900 without doing a lot of tweaking. Thank you guys for the awesome content and info. I hope you guys realize how much you are appreciated.
I like the chair set up. Nice shooting fellas. In that setting why use slugs over pellets? It seems you do just as well at those distances with pellets.
I was shooting pellets. Norm was shooting the hybrids because the gun just loves them no lethality reason, just shooting what the guns are in love with and are tuned for.

Hey Ralph, I would love to, but its not baout the settings for us. we have an added lens, and focusing that to the reticle is the magic. It is also a pain. We usually run firefly cameras adapted to our sideshots to avoid the finickyness of the gopro. The gopro footage is better, when its in focus.....but that is only about 50% of the time in our experience.

You will definitely pass thru with thirty. But same goes for 25 and much of the time 22 depending on what you are slinging em at. So we just always figure on passthru and plan accordingly with the background
Ever run into issues with your guns and POI in below zero weather... lots of these videos seem to be close to below freezing.... I quite shooting when it was below 0 because every issue I have ever had with a PCP was when it was below freezing... maybe coincidence... but I suspect not. Also isn't shooting in rain and sleet terribly bad on these guns?

Try out the pard007 day& night video recorder that hooks up to scopes real easly especially wants you switch to eagle vision tighten screw adapter. I use pard007 for day and night hunt's so that barn situation would not be a problem guy's. Check it out if you like.

we were using the same tune and thirty, but thats why we had to be so darn careful not a single hole made, but it is tough

No wind they are equal I’d say Never seen slugs shoot as well as this. All other guns we own id say the pellet gun

Yeah like norm said the poi can change just like with powder burners. But the guns work fine. No function issues. Just different dope and zero

Every now and then ill wipe down the outside with gun oil but maybe once a year

I tried on my pellet tune and it didnt group that well They shoot awesome with the 700 barrel though

Thats pretty unfair. Same hunters, same channel, same laughs, with new gear to keep it interesting. If you want a channel that just shoots birds with a marauder all the time, we aren't ever gonna be that.
