People criticize Damien for his vocals but I think he did an awesome job. VR is a hard band to cover especially when you take upon the row and lyrics of another singer.
Sad isn't it? I hate to say it but Dave was the backbone for this band, his solos were just unbelievable. Even the genre of his new band has grown on me.

I have now discovered my love of Chamber Music and Opera; along with Jazz, 60\70s rock, experimental music, and a tad of Hip-Hop I still get in (not as much as metal though), that makes it harder to stay up to date on Metal, especially death for I listen to other metals more. In an interview, he stated that the metal world isn't paying what it use to, so he's been looking for other work. Employers were discouraged in hiring someone with an inverted cross on their forehead, so he went through plastic surgery to get it removed.
