Beautiful lodge but I really recommend someplace on the rim for the views and sunsets/sunrises….saves you time going in and coming out each day also…..
Aloha Naser. Thanks for watching and for commenting. The leopard photographed and seen in this video was actually on the Crater rim. So for this leopard, technically you are correct. It was not in the Crater, but rather on the crater rim in a tree along the road. But we did see it on the Ngorongoro game drive. However, my guide assures me that leopards can indeed be seen in the woodlands on the Crater floor. I just haven't seen them there yet. Thanks again for your comment. Have a great weekend. Aloha.Lee
There was a leopard that I photographed in a tree during our visit three years ago…..she had only one eye due to an incident with a lion….beautiful cat in an amazing place…..brought me to tears…..
I think the Ngorongoro Crater is a world class location for wildlife viewing and wildlife photography. Have you ever been? If so, how did you like it? What ideas to have to make the most out of a visit? What's the favorite animal that you've ever seen in the crater? For me it's a caracal!!!
Visited for two days three years ago…..it had been my dream since youth to visit the Crater….when I first viewed into the Crater it brought me to tears…..we saw the big five plus….our leopard sighting was astounding and seeing the beautiful caracal was a bonus…..it is very clearly worth more than one day in my opinion…..look forward to returning one day….
@@brianmyers4444 That's awesome Brian. I am so happy you got to experience Ngoronogoro Crater. I, too, think it is an amazing location on our beautiful planet. Have a great week. Aloha, Lee
@@TheBigBlueMarble thank you for watching and for your comment. I can honestly say that an African safari is the best photographic experience I have ever had, and one of the best life experiences I’ve been blessed to live. I encourage everyone to go on an African safari with a knowledgeable and ethical guide. There are options to fit many budgets- most are less than $15k a person, and only a few will be more. Have a good weekend. Aloha, Lee
Aloha Parth. Thanks for watching and for commenting. So happy that you were able to visit Ngorongoro Crater. I agree with you, it is awesome! Have a great summer! Aloha, Lee

Great location for photographers, but spending $15k+ for 10 days of photography is a bit much and absolutely not necessary.
