A tip I picked up is to soak a cotton bud in the chemical on the cloth, this is less harsh. The gloves protect your skin from the chemical too. I’ve also soaked it into a polishing felt for a Dremel that works well.

Great cloths, especially if you've picked up fine scratches around your highly Rolex bezel.
hi, may i ask because the caseback of my seiko 5 have a single deep scratch though it's not noticeable since it is on the caseback, do you think it can be repaired? and how much do you think it will cost? just wondering if you have any idea :)

Are you sure you can polish going both ways instead of one way like its done with brushed steel?

Really high -and shiny ;-) congrats for this video : it gave me some 'basic' elements I had not in my mind -and know-how, as concerns hashness of machine polishing. Now, I'm ready also to (try and) use a basic polishing liquid easily found in supermarkets here in France : its brand is MIROR. Well, I shall carry out a side-by-side comparison in order to humbly follow your example ;-) Watch of u soon .

Between Cape Code and Peek I will use nothing else. Peek btw can take out minor scuffs from mineral crystals. :)
Why did you put tape on the less shiny part? I ask because I Intend to use my cloth on not a shiny finish section and also another section that looks like the one you covered, will it hurt if I use it in the not so shiny part??
The less shiny part is brushed metal, the cloth is abrasive and will take away bits of the brushed design and instead polish it and make it shiny
Very impressive !. Quite expensive but the results are great.
I use this product for silver and brass it’s wonderful. Just take care, don’t use on any surface that’s meant to have a texture, i.e. brushed stainless steel or matte surfaces.

Do you have to mask up the glass when doing a bezel?
Cela dépend du verre....Si c'est un verre de type Saphir, rien à craindre. Si c'est en polycarbonate, mieux vaut le protèger....

The cloth is abrasive and will essentially ruin the brushed metal, not recommended

Ha ha, I think 5-minute Friday's has a little better ring to it 😎 . My girlfriend was telling me about a musical Mickey Mouse watch she had that got lost or broken or something or another and I think she knew what she was doing because I found myself online researching them and wound up ordering her two different vintage Lorus musical Mickey & Minnie mouse watches 😋 . I ordered a 3rd that was listed as a guy's watch that had a starry night's sky scene that was almost a meteorite style looking dial that looked really interesting. Anyhoo it needs a new 16mm strap and I thought to make it look more like a guy's watch I may possibly put it on a black or khaki NATO strap since it's a gold case. Besides a possible leather strap, you have any suggestions?

Will it harm the crystal?
Most likely. So probably the best to cover it with a masking tape or similar.
Do me a favour please do not put the watch with the dial glass on the table, it hurts my horology heart :p

You should adjust the grinder of your coffee machine to the minimum, so that it is just corse enough that the coffee pours gently out a bit more than drops. Believe me, this will improve the coffee by miles.
About this Pagani, is it a good watch ??
@Laurent B, the chronograph? - Yes, it is. Seiko VK63 Mecaquartz chronograph movement, sapphire crystal, ceramic bezel, full stainless steel construction, etc. Not a lot of room for QC issues 🙂 Check the review here: th-cam.com/video/r0PjrfqrfS4/w-d-xo.html
