These shows really have a grip of their black magic viewers. I doubt you would think this of he did that to your loved ones. You would probably go to bed calling him a coward or at least I would hope so on behalf of them. Fans for some odd reasons always fall in love with the loser character who accepted their fate. Hypothetical: Let's say he touched little kids, had a long rap sheet of raping women in various ages. Would you still stand by what you're still saying? Do you actually have a line to cross that puts a bad guy worst than the next? He didn't take his punishment like anything. He did a horrible act and went out like it was nothing with zero remorse. He even planted his final seed and told his kid to never talk to cops as a goodbye message to him. Sounds pretty cowardly in my book, almost like a inside out type of cry for help without physically being hysterical about it. Crying shows remorse, it's in the bible, the 2 or 3 men who died on the cross next to Jesus cried their hearts out that they were truly sorry for their sins. It showed and Jesus for forgave them which in return is why he told them that they will go up to heaven. Hollywood knows this and uses it as a inside joke through movies and shows because they know human behavior is exactly like this if you don't have a relationship with God. In court rooms, people who are sorry for their crimes look the family in the eyes and say sorry and that includes even If they weren't crying on the spot but the message always gets delivered. My long comment comes down to this- a fictional scumbag died as a fictional scumbag, you give his story some major hype lol.

Definitely one of my favorites.. black flag holds a special place in my heart for my first true introduction to early punk. Was so happy when I saw he had a major role in season 2
Weston was my favorite "bad guy" in the show. He was an evil human being, but at his core he was really doing what he thought was the right thing. But he knew who he was and when it was his time to go he accepted it. He didn't run like zobelle, and he didn't beg like stall. it's one thing to be an evil human being, it's a completely different thing to be a coward as well

Bunch of kids answering, if you had a child you fucking would not risk him getting shot for you, and most parents would lay down their life for their kid in a heartbeat, so cut this " i would fight en like a boss" bullshit.
God I love Henry Rollins. As a person, musician, actor, entertainer, and all around strange man who has lived his life in his own peculiar way and is brutally honest sometimes to the point of self-deprecation. Dude was hardcore in this role, I think he fought enough skinheads back in the day he knew the type.
That is why I laughed when someone said he was racist and I also love how much he defends the LGBTQ folks (myself included in that group) while not actually being gay or bisexual. He is full of wisdom and compassion and is a gifted musician and actor as well as being an activist.
This show was insane because if the character depth. The dude was hot garbage , but played a good father at the sametime, twisted moral compass, but a good father none the less. What makes a great bad guy, be it in movies or the real world, is conviction. They believe they are the good guy, a hero, meanwhile they are spawns of Satan himself. The belief they are right mixed with charismatic behavior draws people to them, or pushes them away, no middle ground , this show did amazing creating characters with that draw and power, amazing work by the cast and writers.
Obviously dont like people with ideals Weston has but I admired his conviction and was a true soldier. Will always be team Sons of Anarchy! Truly one of the best shows ever made! I would definitely be down with them!
Oh wow seriously! He even looks more like him too! Really anything is better than jeffery dean morgan, every time that dude opens his make with that exaggerated accent i cringe 😬

All the shit that guy did to the club, and Jax still kept enough respect to honor his last words that his kid would never see the aftermath of what was about to happen. Jax did what he had to do always, he killed a lot, but he always gave enough respect where it was due.
thing is the kid probably would have moseyed back in IRL unless the whole bar was in on the hit and kept the kid away from scene after the sons walked out. or the sons made the kid leave but we never see, so too me jax let the kid leave sure but what was stopping the kid from walking back in after three biker dudes left the bathroom, too find his dad slumped over in the stall? there should be a spin off of that kid grown up lol.
it's hilarious to see henry rollins like this. he's a great person and entirely anti-racist. having been a black flag fan first, its incredible seeing him act
@alian ha No, not everyone is racist. Do people have a tendency for tribal thinking? Yes, it's rooted deep inside in us. Ingroup, outgroup, us and the "others". People that simply just let these visceral instincts take over for some reason are the ones ending up being racist a**holes. But not everybody are like that, some ppl simply doesn't have these instincts, or if they do, they overcome it with thinking and reason.
If he cared about his children he wouldn't of been a gangster in the first place. And shoving that Nazi bullshit around too. Once I had as kid I went completely straight legal wise. I couldn't think about being in jail and having a kid on the outside

Its funny cause I did watch the show long ago and I know I hated his character for all the wrong he had done. But watching this scene again out of the blue with no context actually made me feel bad.
I like how even in the episode commentary Hunnam acknowledges he would have burned the shit out of his crotch sticking the gun in his waistband like that after pumping 5 rounds off.
I counted 6 shots, but even still I doubt it especially if we assume he didn't tuck it in against bare skin (highly likely).. temperature of a suppressor only rises about 10° at most per round, conservatively more like 7 degrees, so it wouldn't even be nearly as hot as a cup of coffee
Dude if you've never shot a pistol with a silencer on it don't talk about it. Let me do the math for you real quick. Couple extra inches of thick metal will not go blistering hot after 6 or so shots in a row. He could've emptied the mag and it wouldn't be that hot especially through cloth. Stop acting like a smart guy and think for yourself instead of stealing all the other morons comments
Love Henry Rollins. This is one of those parts you know he can do better than any professional actor out there. Then again Henry Rollins acting has always been underrated. Drama to comedy he's a pro in his own right being classically trained himself. Major Props for him doing son's.
Weston knew what was coming, and took it how Odin would want him to. The character was a scumbag, but Rollins is a phenomenal actor. It's a shame he's so underrated.

I don't understand why the shots sound like that either. Hollywood loves to make it seem like suppressors are silent. But in actuality, suppressors make alot more noise than what was shown in this clip.
@@TheHypernaught What was he gonna do? Make it even more messy in front of his kid? You don't try to fight back, because you probably think "They'll remember me for this." They would, but not out of fear. They'd laugh at how fucking stupid you were for trying to fight against them. You know the saying "Don't bring a knife to a gun fight."? Yeah, it ends even worse when you don't bring anything to a gun fight. And if you've even watched the show, you'd know that this man was more of a badass than most of the other people on the show. He was evil, and he was an asshole, but he stuck to his guns to the very end. A real man knows when its his time to go, and accepts his death with open arms. Only faggots that think they're on top of the world try to fight death. Because they're the real cowards.
Barely watched this show, but I keep rewatching this scene. The contrast of a respectable man with abhorrent values. One can Hate him, dislike him, revile him, be completely reasonable and justified in ending his life, but you’re kind of forced to respect him.
I wouldn't go that far about knowing he was wrong. I think he would have tried to get out of the predicament and fight back if his kid wasn't with him. He accepted his fate because Jax let his kid go!
Not all of them sound the same. Especially on different weapons. I've heard plenty on P325's, AR15, Glocks, M214, 9mm Beretta, and ect. They all had a different sound. The sound depends on the gun, the ammo, length and size of suppressor, inside or enclosed structure or outside in the open.
Chet Armlin I don't know my friend. It looks like he's using a 9mm Beretta. In a tight enclosed area. So there's not much room for the sound to travel. And you have to put into perspective the sound quality of your phone, or computer vs the sound quality of the movie recording as well. Truthfully it does sound weird, but it's also being shot out of a weapon with blanks in it. Blanks and live rounds sound totally different in any sort of weapon.

YOU HATED AJ WESTON MORE THAN JAX, TARA, AND GEMMA????
when you play a character that goes the opposite of your beliefs and how you are in real life in such a believable way that speaks of the great actor you are
I love that man, Rollins is a great actor and a damned fine musician.
Definitely one of my favorites.. black flag holds a special place in my heart for my first true introduction to early punk. Was so happy when I saw he had a major role in season 2
And a damned fine man 💕 (minus the racist tattoos)

He's no musician. They play instruments and create music. He writes words.
Shadow Offspring he's the furthest thing from a racist. That was a tv show. Those racist tats weren't real.
I kind of think they knew that...

Sierra November nah I'd.be a real boss and raise my kid right and not become a rapist so I get killed as he's in the next room
“Never talk to the cops” probably the only good advice he ever gave his son judging by that chest tattoo.
Great tattoo
@@DonnyRP woah, dude, you are so cool!

It's was hard for me to see Henry play this part so we'll knowing that is NOT the kind of man he is.
Goes to show how good an actor he is. Met him once at one of his stand up shows. He is a top class gentleman and human being.

The Irony of this character that is was played by Henry Rollins . Henry was a punk rock singer , not my taste of music , but his spoken word tours were unbelievable. Everyone should take a moment to listen , very powerful words , he takes respect to the next level .

I like how even in the episode commentary Hunnam acknowledges he would have burned the shit out of his crotch sticking the gun in his waistband like that after pumping 5 rounds off.
I counted 6 shots, but even still I doubt it especially if we assume he didn't tuck it in against bare skin (highly likely).. temperature of a suppressor only rises about 10° at most per round, conservatively more like 7 degrees, so it wouldn't even be nearly as hot as a cup of coffee
glad the pipin' hot silencer fit in his underwear
Justbase It’s a tv show dude.

Dude if you've never shot a pistol with a silencer on it don't talk about it. Let me do the math for you real quick. I used to think so until my neighbor got one. Hollywood has us all fooled. Even Hillary.
IRISHPRIDE 211
Gotcha. Thanks. But have you heard of one sounding like it did in this clip?
Chet Armlin I don't know my friend. It looks like he's using a 9mm Beretta. In a tight enclosed area. So there's not much room for the sound to travel. And you have to put into perspective the sound quality of your phone, or computer vs the sound quality of the movie recording as well. Truthfully it does sound weird, but it's also being shot out of a weapon with blanks in it. Blanks and live rounds sound totally different in any sort of weapon.
