I am from Austin Texas, was born there in 1956. I was there when the Austin music scene was an infant. Rodney was a big part of that Austin music. Love this song!
Petah49 Only came across John Paul during the Coronavirus outbreak - but just love the music he makes with Rodney (and also Roseanne on 'It ain't over yet") their an amazing combination of voices. Note the look of pure joy and admiration from the young bespectacled guy on the stairs at about 3.00 minutes on Don't Think That I Can't Feel You When You're Gone when Rodney lends his guitar playing talents to the performance - priceless!
Rodney Crowell exemplefies "Songwriting" - both of these guys are great songwriters and singers - I was especially touched by Rodney's song - all the best songs come from our lives - these guys are the real deal - thanks for giving us your art guys :)
I also love John Paul's song - it's a great song - heartfelt, beautiful - wouldn't it be great to sit around with these guys with guitars and a bottle of Jim Beam !

I can't find the "Girl On the Street" song ANYWHERE other than here. It's crazy, did they just play it for this one session? Such a great song, should be on a record
I always want to know what mics they’re using and wonder if they each select or provide their own - that ‘s what I would do. Is John Paul using a ribbon mic?

Rodney is good, no doubt, and he and John May have rendered my lyrics in these two songs( possibly more) because they are done very well...inclusive of the very important Cash intervention
I’ve been through that many times what’s the best thing to do given money how are your life and I place the rest there’s no answer junkie it may be too late
Stop going everywhere on TH-cam claiming to have written songs you never wrote I see. If you've written songs then why don't you publish them? Oh wait, you haven't done that because you're not a songwriter and have never written anything in your life. You're a BPD.
@@donnakeeley7924 This guy - "Ron Belin" - goes all around TH-cam claiming to have written songs and that others have stolen songs from him. He didn't write this - or anything.
I'm conflicted about White, because his reticence comes across as so diva to me. He's undeniably talented and yet I really, actively dislike his music, not in spite of, but because of how good it is. I have no such conflict about Crowell. I'm here for everything he produces.
Well, you're the one who loves to go around on TH-cam claiming to have written songs you sure as hell never wrote. Don't transfer your lying mindset onto others.

brings back so many memories of my late husband of 54 years. its been 5 years since he passed and it doesn't get any better.

Just wow!!!!!
Que coisa linda!!
Magnificent!
There’s nothing like new music that’s what David said from the Bible and he was the master musician
Music for the Soul..

I wrote this though I had not heard it till this
Yeah, you've written every song that was actually written by someone else.
Does anyone know the name of the first song?
Don't Think That I Don't Feel You When You're Gone

That Koa works like a champ? That's Koa, right?
Unless they find themselves somewhere buried deep inside but it may be too late if they’ve gone to fun
Fuck yeah!
I’m admiration struck for John Paul’s reticence to make unabashed CLAIM for all aspect of this song, my story line

Google that
They say dance nude before the Lord
It’s a reference to King David
Another I will never get credit for: "feeling you when you're gone "
Ron Belin Beautiful words, my friend.

Truly Rodney’s story is a crock
So you're still peddling your bullshit on TH-cam? You're a l.o.s.e.r.
