    Thank you for going into a more advanced concept than most of these tutorials. They keep saying you need to make your game different, but never explain how to do more challenging functions in RPG Maker. I want to know exactly RPG maker can be used and how complex it can go.

      Nice comment. As far as how far you can go with RPG Maker, there is no limit. It's just a matter of practicality.

    Seeing this would be tough, but the button mashing can probably be used to recreate "Burn Out" attack item from The Legend of Dragoon 🤔

    great video!!! btw do you know if i have to use those pictures and colors or is there a way to change that?, also for the mash button, is there a way to just have to mash button without the dragon ball z like animation?

      You could easily edit the images out. Also you can use whatever you want for animation.

    Cool stuff, would be interested to know if any lag is introduced by going through the eventing system as opposed to a plugin.

      The previous plugins I worked with just depreciated. While these particular skills are super optimized, I didn't decide to go evented because of optimization. I went with events because the plugins I used to use no longer work with the current version of RPG Maker MV.
      TBH, I don't really trust SRD plugins with my game anymore, as they have often broken my game. Many of the times those plugins broke, my game was also difficult to identify because sometimes things would work, and sometimes they wouldn't.
      Since my game already uses so many plugins, my heart skips a beat every time I use a plugin that changes the core RPG maker files, so I try to avoid that if possible.

    Hey bro nice video! Do you know where can I find animated sv enemies? And where can i find a breathing effect for static enemies? I am on rpg MZ ;)

      I have a blog post with lists of assets: mauigamestudio.com/rpg-maker-mz-mv-assets-list/ ..... I am not sure about breathing for MZ... breathing works for Yanfly action sequences. I would think that the Visustella action sequence stuff does that, but I'm not sure.

      @@mauigamestudio yeah after a long research I found out that the visustella plugin is the only way to use the breathing in MZ ... Anyways thanks for the link ! I subscribed ;)

    will these work with an atb system?

      Can't say for sure. I didn't use ATB in my game since I always intended to put my game on mobile and desktop. I can't think of a reason why it wouldn't work with Yanfly, which I'm somewhat familiar with. Try it out and let me know how it goes.

      @@mauigamestudio i got it to work... sort of... i'm not entirely understanding what the numbers in the script calls do, but i'l play around with it and see what i can figure out, like the arrows movement speed. any chance you could upload a simple variant of the images to download?
