@@AutoGlory yea cuz when my car was stock I pulled top end on a stock Q60 red sport by 1.5 cars and now i have an intake, exhaust 56lb injectors and full E85 and I walk them now. So it’s either his tuner is great, the mustangs tuner is bad or the Q50 is higher than E30

Yes… he def had his gearing in the right rev range, also, he also probably stomped the pedal a half second ahead to spool up (which is fair) and the twin turbos help with the lag, tho less
Damn that's a pretty solid running Q! Expected somewhat closer runs overall, but it seems that Q had a good tune, so no dice for this mustang. Good runs!
there's only like 3 tuners for the platform right now and they're all really good, if you have 10-20k you can make 500-600whp pretty easily, just throw the cash at it, there's no real options to go wrong

with 10-20k in mods on a 42k car, you can beat a car 33 thousand dollar car with probably a kn intake and some local tuner's e85 tune

this vid came just in time for me, got the title for my 16 mustang not long ago and have been looking to get into something a bit more mature but quick, Q50 RS has been one of my top contenders.

I've owned my 2017 Q60 Redsport awd since new and its been full bolt on with 93 pump tune since 8 thousand miles it just hit 50 thousand miles and no issues. Like most turbo cars check your oil every 1000 or 1500 miles it will need a little bit. Other than that I have ran my car in hard and it's been great to me. Good luck if you purchase one.
I recommend the sensory the red sport just has some nicer features like nicer interior by a little bit and bigger tires, but with a 150$ tune and maybe an intake you could be making same hp as a RS, youre saving like 3-4k not buying an RS
I’m not gonna lie… as a gen 3 mustang built motor pro charger D1x car that lives on E85 I thought that 5.0 was gonna win, especially with those mods…… man that Infinity moves out good. Lol yea that mustang just needs to go head and take the L on this one. I’d would have lost money on this bet.

Thats a 10R80 too, Q50 has a way slower trans also much harder to keep in its optimum power band as the JATCO 7AT isnt geared like that the monster that is the 10R80 good win by the Q

As a 2016 q50 owner with FBO and a jb4 I smoke a lot of challengers/chargers, Lexus etc. While the q50 isn't the fastest thing out there it can hold its own against many. BRZ boys I'm sorry get a new car.

modified/tuned properly , yes the Q50s move, stock they are not very fast - my stock Audi S3 destroyed a Q50 from a dig and 60-130 roll. I raced a FBO E30 Q50 later on in the year with my stage 2 Audi S3 and beat him again but only by 1-2 car lengths. I was going to get the Q50 originally but glad I went with my S3, I do really like the 3.0 T in the Q50.

FSI Gen three engines-
You’re just talking about what you heard and that’s the Gen 1 and two engines which had oil consumption problems and timing chain issues-All those problems are gone the beefed up 2.0 in the S3 is very reliable I know two of the top my head coming up on 200,000 miles with no major issues..
S3 is much better handling car far superior transmission, the DSG 7 speed DQ381 is Nearly as good as the PDK .
You might wanna look into what you say next time a little bit more carefull

bullshit I have a hybrid q50 rwd and can gap those shit mustangs in nz it has great top end those turbo q50 on stock turbos can get heat soak and the ecu goes into limp mode that mustang is over priced and over rated

Run a 18-21. Compression is 12:1. 2022 they dropped to 11:1. So it makes less power with same bolt ons as a 18-21.

I did a dig with a 5.0 after he was going in and out of lanes constantly for miles and when I got next to him through my stock 21 Q50 into sport and gapped him hard for about 1/3 mile before I let off at almost 100mph and let him pass. Bet he was surprised.

The Infinity is tuned right , mustang needs a good set up the mustang should have pulled on him especially with the 10 speeds
There's other mustangs with less mods that would pull on the same Q

I have had both at the same time. My GT wasn't as fast as my Q until I put a blower on it. Q got fast with intake, tune, ldp and full exhaust. GT had all same plus long tubes and barely kept up. Once vmp got added Q had no chance.

i have never known an Infiniti to be a fast car.
The VR30DDTT engine is pretty easy to make go fast. All it takes is some cash. After the engine bolt ons, you need to change from the crappy open diff to an LSD. The Wavetrac on mine did the trick. But were talking an extra 2G's just for the rear end. I surprise the heck out of a lot of Mustangs, Chargers, Challengers, Camaros, etc...

Q60 are better. I'm not into the sedan thing. I rarely see tuned Q50 driving on the road. When I see them, it is usually some man driving with his entire family, which is the proper way to use a sedan. Then, I sometimes see the teenage boy who has a car filled with drunk people and has the windows down blasting fake rap. Q50 drivers can differ and be all over the place. The Q60 looks better as a coupe though.

When I see a Q60, I sort of look over and appreciate it more.

This Q is making 400+ of that not 600 lol this is not a full bolt on Q neither. Just has the basic exhaust and intake done. Doesn’t have BOV, Heat exchanger, full upper intake system, stage 2 air, jb4 etc these can be making easily 600+ that making it a competition for 900hp cars it’s a force to be reckon with. Just the new Z.
