  • Ships are the unsung heroes of the shipping world. When we hit that “buy” button we can expect our items to get to our doorsteps in just two days. But don’t you ever wonder where it all comes from? Chances are it was shipped here from another country by boat. Or how about all of that oil you use to fill up the tank? And then there are the cruise liners throwing parties and battle-hardened warships undertaking the toughest of tasks. And all of these ships are pretty big. Some are long and thin while others are short and stout but either way, when they’re coming into port, they’re tough to miss. So join us for today’s video, where we look at the 15 largest ships ever built!

    It's amazing that the biggest British ship, the QE class aircraft carrier, is named after one of the smallest monarchs. Now, that called compensating!

    The qmax is not seven American football fields long. That would be 2,100 ft given that each American football field is 100 yards or 300 ft. She's only 1100+ ft. So you're a thousand feet shy.

    • @vipahman
      @vipahman 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Perhaps he meant 7 football fields sideways.
