While I like today's worship songs, these old hymns take me back to when I was a child. They helped to build a foundation of faith that has lasted me all my life...
I'm in the hospital, and just searched for "old hymns piano instrumentals". Your video popped up, and I am singing along in my head, worshipping Him in spirit, although I am just laying in bed. I am "singing aloud" upon my bed, lol. Thanks for the music. After I am discharged and back to my full strength, I will read more about you. I listen to this every night 🌙 when i sleep. I am so lucky to have fond memories of these somgs from my childhood. I only hope my grown children will remember them from me.

I love to attend a church that uses a piano or organ n sing d beautiful hymns of what i experienced when i was young. The lyrics of the songs before has beautiful lyrics that pierces your soul. These are beautiful songs n i hope we still have this kind of church nowadays instead of praise songs with d band accompaniment .
We need to be sorry to God for what the Bible says is sin. Only once we realize we're lost can we be saved by trusting and the life death and burial and resurrection of Jesus.. he shed his blood for us taking our sins upon him, and he gives us his righteousness when we put our trust in his finished work on the cross, asking him to forgive us and save our souls from hell

Could you please do 10 (or more) hours with a dark screen? This would be phenomenal for background music at night. The peacefulness of it. Im 65 , grew up in church. This is my comfort zone. What better way to block the world while you sleep. I normally use thunderstorms or reading of Scripture. I'd love to add this to my rotation. Thank you

I don’t think I have heard I Stand Amazed in this key before. It’s much faster than I’ve heard it but I do remember my mom saying that it was originally written that way and it has been slowed down by other artists today. Personally I think both ways are beautiful but I don’t think I’d be able to play it on my piano the original version. Now I have to try. I play by ear, so I will be listening to this playlist every now and then. I just learned Abide With Me a couple days ago. Took me 30+ minutes but I eventually learned it. Songs with a lot of flats can sometimes be a challenge. Especially in a row and Abide With Me has 4 I believe. Though I also just learned Love Divine, All Love Excelling and that one was a doozy! I didn’t think it would ever click. I finally got it. My grandma played by ear, my mom inherited the gift from her and I’m the only one who inherited the gift from both of them. I didn’t like piano lessons as a kid and didn’t stick with it but had regretted it all my life. It’s the biggest regret I have. Both my grandma had and mom played together a lot. I played with my mom all the time. My grandma died unexpectedly when I was 18 years old. 7 months ago my mom passed unexpectedly the exact age my grandma was,75. I lived with my mom and was extremely close. Now I’m trying to honor my mom and grandma by improving my piano skills and it’s been a struggle. I really hope and pray I can succeed. Though it’s not the same playing alone.

I love to attend a church that uses a piano or organ n sing d beautiful hymns of what i experienced when i was young. The lyrics of the songs before has beautiful lyrics that pierces your soul. These are beautiful songs n i hope we still have this kind of church nowadays instead of praise songs with d band accompaniment .

We need to be sorry to God for what the Bible says is sin. Only once we realize we're lost can we be saved by trusting and the life death and burial and resurrection of Jesus.. he shed his blood for us taking our sins upon him, and he gives us his righteousness when we put our trust in his finished work on the cross, asking him to forgive us and save our souls from hell

I don’t think I have heard I Stand Amazed in this key before. It’s much faster than I’ve heard it but I do remember my mom saying that it was originally written that way and it has been slowed down by other artists today. Personally I think both ways are beautiful but I don’t think I’d be able to play it on my piano the original version. Now I have to try. I play by ear, so I will be listening to this playlist every now and then. I just learned Abide With Me a couple days ago. Took me 30+ minutes but I eventually learned it. Songs with a lot of flats can sometimes be a challenge. Especially in a row and Abide With Me has 4 I believe. Though I also just learned Love Divine, All Love Excelling and that one was a doozy! I didn’t think it would ever click. I finally got it. My grandma played by ear, my mom inherited the gift from her and I’m the only one who inherited the gift from both of them. I didn’t like piano lessons as a kid and didn’t stick with it but had regretted it all my life. It’s the biggest regret I have. Both my grandma had and mom played together a lot. I played with my mom all the time. My grandma died unexpectedly when I was 18 years old. 7 months ago my mom passed unexpectedly the exact age my grandma was,75. I lived with my mom and was extremely close. Now I’m trying to honor my mom and grandma by improving my piano skills and it’s been a struggle. I really hope and pray I can succeed. Though it’s not the same playing alone.
