Thank you for posting these hymns. Like many young people worldly songs, I have sang and danced to often. But when we grow in our friendship with Jesus Christ, our inclination is for songs that praise God and his words. These are the hymns I also heard in church during my youth, and years of spiritual immaturity. I now prefer gospel songs, however, listening with a biblical understanding of moral integrity.
Hallelujah......I was homeless, got into drugs, went into prisons, then i got to know Jesus, He changed my life.. Now i have a home, a wife, a lovely daughter and a new identity... A child of God..
When I was a child my siblings and I went to choir rehersal every Thursday, with my parents. The seven of us sat quietly in the front pew, and listened to the senior choir sing all of these hymns. These songs ministered to my little spirit then, now over sixty years ago; and to this day I find great comfort and peace hearing them. I know a lot of these hymns by heart, because I was blessed with parents who had the forsight to put it in our hearts. Hallelujah!! Amen. Raise up a child in the way he should go and he will not depart from it. I love praising the LORD GOD. Amen. Amen. Amen.

I lift up the Lord for these divine hymns which we sang in church since I was young. I am now 72 Years old and I can stil memorize the songs. It always resounds in my heart. I use these divine songs to praise God during my morning devotions. I thank the Lord for the Christian Methodist missionaries who opened the door for us to know Jesus in the rural areas in the Philippines.
I was a victim of severe COVID last June in Kyrgyzstan and nearly passed away in the remotes of that country. My body was green and I fought Satan hard for three days. Remembering these old songs and staying focused Jesus and my faith in him. Now just a few days ago I got a fourth dose of COVID vaccine and it was like a had COVID again for 48hrs. I just prayed as best I could though my brain was on fire with fever. To find these great old hymns is the greatest blessing the I could have after these past few days. God bless and keep the faith. Love listening to the old hymns, when i was a kid i sang them out in church i was not saved then, but now i am and i now understand the words i was singing ,all praise to the Lord.

This 69yo Tasmanian male Christian listens to these hymns nearly every night when I go to my lonely bed. Wife walked out in January after 40 years. I thank God for every breath, step and heartbeat. I've just survived having my big toe cut off for gangrene, but nothing prepared any of us for the iceberg of gangrene under the toe. A great hole had to be made to get all of the gangrene. It was done under local anaesthetic and I saw a little of the operation as I mostly hid behind a sheet. God got me through that journey and will for the months of healing yet to come. PRAISE THE LORD!!!!!
Hello from Texas. I am diabetic type 2.i too have had foot problems. Eat lots of high quality protein. Low carbs .......and green leafy stuff. I take high doses vitamin C. God provides wonderful things that we can eat to help heal our selves. God loves you and you are important. You are not alone. Remember the lord watches over the sparrow. He watches over you too. I understand that you head is still spinning even after 4 months.

I miss my mom. She passed away in April unexpectedly. She raised us on these songs. Family Radio was on 24/7. What a strong foundation she gave me and my brothers. My brothers have left the church but I know one day they will find their way, because the foundation of God was planted.

God has been so good to me . In 2021. I got up about 2 am in the morning sweating from head to toe on my way to bathroom. As I got to the bathroom and sat down my breathing cut off completely. I couldn't talk to call anyone for I was fighting for my breath, that I said to myself in my mind what are you panicking for, this is it. As I started to gointo unconsciousness I fell to the floor on my knee and my head touching the floor. As I was going to take my last breath and close my eyes. I said in my mind. Lord if this is the way I am to die so be it. As soon as I said those words, I felt something ran from the soul of my y feet to my head and lift me off the ground. My body got completely dried and my breathing came back I believe God have work for me to do. When I was 16 years old at the beach I when for a ball in sea but I couldn't swim . When I reach out I couldn't touch the bottom. I went down once,came up, went down twice and As I was going under the 3rd time I said Lord I am not going to call for help and as I went under with my two hands up I felt someone grip my hand and as I rise above the water. It was a human chain of men pulling me in. Since then whenever I go to the beach I don't allow the water to pass my chest. I have so many testimonies of medical sickness that God turned around . He have to be saving me for something and I will wait on Him for His time is the right time. Thank You Lord for who You are I will forever give You praises

❤I had such an amazing time of peace with our Lord Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament for about half an hour before Mass this morning. Never done that before Mass (and not for some time). I prayed my Rosary (begun earlier on my walk to church.) I even read chapters from my Bible which I'd felt drawn to take with me to Mass today. I enjoyed the feeling of being in the Presence of Jesus, Our Blessed Mother Mary, and my Guardian Angel. So much so that, after Mass, I stopped by the Chapel for a quick kneeling and Sign of the Cross. I felt like spending the entire Sunday there! Thank You Jesus. I think I'll do this daily. I always LOVE these HYMNS than the contemporary Christians Songs of today. I appreciated more if Churches that sings from the Hymnals, rather than purely modern. I have been singing and memorizing these Holy Spirit Golden Old Hymns from Sunday School until now I’m a grandmother. I can’t see the reason to change relevant words of these Hymns. God did not give them the right to make any changes! Jesus said: Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. It will never ever leave you. God bless my parent whose obedience to God is the reason I am rejoicing today. They are both in heaven and I am glad that they taught me these godly principles from a child and they are still with me today in my late seventies. These Holy Spirit Golden Old Hymns I have memorized from I was small in Sunday School and Services. Oh how I love them and the blessings I receive from them over the years!

I have asked that these types of hymns be sung at my funeral. They are so inspiring now and will be for all eternity as we live in heaven with Jesus and all the saints who will be there. You are absolutely right! I first learned to appreciate that hymn, A Mighty Fortress when it was sung at Princess Diana's funeral. I grew up singing these hymns at church. These are the hymns that keeps us centered and grounded when there seem to be hopelessness.

❤I had such an amazing time of peace with our Lord Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament for about half an hour before Mass this morning. Never done that before Mass (and not for some time). I prayed my Rosary (begun earlier on my walk to church.) I even read chapters from my Bible which I'd felt drawn to take with me to Mass today. I enjoyed the feeling of being in the Presence of Jesus, Our Blessed Mother Mary, and my Guardian Angel. So much so that, after Mass, I stopped by the Chapel for a quick kneeling and Sign of the Cross. I felt like spending the entire Sunday there! Thank You Jesus. I think I'll do this daily. (I'd been struggling against the 'hassle' of this for weeks!)

I always LOVE these HYMNS than the contemporary Christians Songs of today. I appreciated more if Churches that sings from the Hymnals, rather than purely modern. By playing these Hymns i remember the days when I was newly Believer of Christ back in the Philippines 🇵🇭 at 17 yrs old, then voluntarily joined the Philippine Army during Martial Law in 1973. I have been singing and memorizing these Holy Spirit Golden Old Hymns from Sunday School until now I’m a grandmother. I can’t see the reason to change relevant words of these Hymns. God did not give them the right to make any changes! Jesus said:
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. It will never ever leave you. God bless my parent whose obedience to God is the reason I am rejoicing today. They are both in heaven and I am glad that they taught me these godly principles from a child and they are still with me today in my late seventies. These Holy Spirit Golden Old Hymns I have memorized from I was small in Sunday School and Services. Oh how I love them and the blessings I receive from them over the years!

I have asked that these types of hymns be sung at my funeral. They are so inspiring now and will be for all eternity as we live in heaven with Jesus and all the saints who will be there. I praise Him for salvation and all the blessings during my 86 years here on earth. These songs bring back memories of the old country church where I grew up where God was praised and His Word was preached.

You are absolutely right! I first learned to appreciate that hymn, A Mighty Fortress when it was sung at Princess Diana's funeral. I grew up singing these hymns at church. These are the hymns that keeps us centered and grounded when there seem to be hopelessness.

Oh what an awesome day it is turning out to be, to be healed restored and set free from sin, that had captivated me for so many years the sin of jealousy . Believing that my mother loved my sister more than me, I now know I was only on loan to my mother and father, I now know that my Heavenly Father has always loved and cared for me and had a plan for my life. How awesome all this is. Bless you for providing these hymns and the other music.
