I was just telling my mum how i don't think the corporate life is for me 😩😩. I used to go outside for my lunch break but sometimes when everyone is working you feel like you're not supposed to take your lunch break. I am also an intern so the pay vs workload is really discouraging sometimes
I stayed at my desk during my lunch break for almost a year before i decided to start taking it outside the office. It’s made such a huge difference in my mental health and my coworkers don’t mind that i take my break everyday, since i’m entitled to it. i definitely understand how it can be discouraging but internships can really be a good gateway to a better job after college. I did an unpaid internship so at least you’re doing better than I was! :)
I have to leave the building for lunch. I always eat in the car and put on a youtube video and just zone out watching cars go by and getting the fresh air. It helps break up the day so much better Even during my shift I listen to youtube videos and it brings me comfort. Other things that bring me comfort throughout the day is having a nice tea mug and assorted teas to enjoy, snacks, fancy pens & folders, photos of my man and best friend. Take brief moments to meditate and do deep breathing also reconnects me to my body so I don't get lost in my head
Offices in America are wild with some random ass radio playing out loud... in Europe the norm is to work with your headset on playing your favorite music.
Great video! Another one could be take a short walk outside if you have time, or go out to get a coffee some days. It is the little things, you’re right. :)

I love you amazingly honest and simple, and true you are. I can see from your video that you are not trying to fabricate and be your authentic self.
