- If you ever wanted to know which is the best Henann Resort in Boracay Philippines then this video is for you. I stayed at all 7 Henann Resorts and I ranked them from worst to best. Two of the most popular are Henann Regency and Henann Crystal Sands but I look at 5 others including their newest resort in Boracay.
To begin with I have to mention that these resorts are good and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend any. But there are some differences that make some better than others. A few are located on the beachfront of White Beach and a number are roadside. I’ll show you which ones have the top buffets in Boracay and which ones have the best swimming pools.

Well I only stayed in the The East Wing which is nearer to the main pool. The other one is closer to the beach, but you are only talking a few minutes walk difference. You do have more room types in the Main/north wing. So in the end I don't think it will really make too much of a difference between the two. Just enjoy the beach and the cocktails :)

Cheers thanks! i heard they are planning on building a new Henann on station 1. It's going to be a 5 star resort I'm not sure if it will be called a "Henann" or rebranded under a new luxury name.

The view in 15:27 is breathtaking. I want to try Hennan but I have 10 year lease on Astoria Chain and I only pay PhP 1,500 for 4 nights.
Yeah it's pretty awesome view. I did more on it on my top resorts in Boracay video th-cam.com/video/nJSrWWWsjSY/w-d-xo.html . If you can get rate for Astoria I wouldn't go anywhere else! Geez you got a good deal! With inflation over the years it's only going to be better! I guess if you stay 5 nights then you could try out Henann one night 🙂

Thanks for the helpful reviews 👍🏽was Henann Regency the only one with a kid pool? Out of all the Henann's would you say one was more baby friendly than the others? i.e. shallow pools, high chairs, lots of other babies around etc... Thinking of travelling to Boracay with my 15 month old
Crystal Sands also has kiddies pool. You can se it on their map www.henann.com/henanncrystalsands/explore/resort-maps. Regency was the largest resort so I naturally saw more families there. I travelled as a single guy so I probably don't see things as good a parent would when deciding on a place :)

Such a helpful video, thank you. I also watched your resort video. We are going in December for Honeymoon. We want luxury/on the beach but also close to bars and nightlife. Ideally not a huge hotel with lots of children as we like to chill by the pool/beach during the day. Any one in particular you would recommend?
There's not one that will fit perfectly with that criteria so you will have to make some compromises. For the bars/nightlife you will want to be around station 2. The nice luxury beach resorts (on White Beach) are located at station 1 which is long walk! As I've done a few videos on resorts I'm not sure if you have seen the "top 10 resorts" one. You'll see my fav luxury resorts on station 1. Henann Crystal Sands is on the edge of Station 1 so its only a short walk to the nightlife. Although this is a larger resort. Their Sky pool is more orientated to adults (families tend to use the main pool). You can see what I mean in this video. Although some of the resorts on station 2 are nice they aren't in the same league (as far as luxury) as some of the ones at station 1 or 3. Best of luck. Cheers

I spent a few months there and I loved it. But it really depends on yourself. I'm not a diver myself but the place isn't know for amazing diving. Same goes with snorkeling it's OK but don't expect to be blown away. What the most popular things are to do on Boracay are enjoying the amazing beaches. Water activities like jet ski, para sailing etc. You can do an island hopping trip. Enjoy the nightlife or just laze by a beautiful beach ⛱️
I only knew that in your vlogs that there are plenty of luxurious hotels with huge swimming pools that’s why it is underrated even in the past years when it is still newly opened. One of the best island resort that i have seen bec of it’s amenities & marvelous view of the beach. 🏖️🌈🌴🐚

Well that sand is sugary soft it's amazing. The waters in Summer are just gorgeous those 2 together are a recipe for paradise! Not only that you can have a lot of fun or just chill by that amazing beach!

im planning on going to boracay this summer. can you tell me which of these resorts are quiet at night? for hennan crystal hotel, there seems to be a lot of nightclubs in the area. i would like it to be quiet late at night. yes, its near d'mall and that is a plus. thoughts?
Well all the Henanns are popular so are busy with people. As far as location station 2 is busiest with the most concentration of restaurants, cafes etc. The quietest area of White Beach I found was at the far end of station 3 but there's no Henanns there. I have done other videos on White Beach Resorts if that helps?

Does hennan crystal sand resort has it’s own pivate beach ? I noticed people walkin on the beach front of others hennan hotel that you mention..
That's White Beach in front it's not private anyone can use that beach.

Yeah they will be. Only their premier allows an extra person at a cost. See if you can email them and ask them what they can do for you.

I didn't notice any when I stayed but those geckos as a common as flies in the Philippines. So I wouldn't be surprised to see them.

Cheers. I've booked direct and on Agoda. I just check which is the cheapest at the time. Just make sure you're booking on Henann's website. I've not had any issues with those 2 sites.

I did that in the video. Station 2 you have Palm and Regency. Palm is a bit newer while the Regency is bigger with more food options. It's best to check prices on dates you're going as they go up and down with demand and season. I would also have a look at Crystal Sands, while not at station 2 it is kinda close. Cheers
Which Hennan resort has the most lively music at the pool?We like a bit of house or upbeat music at the resorts we stay in?
I remember at Crystal sands by the pool bar at their infinity pool they were playing upbeat music. You maybe able to hear it a bit in the background in the video. I remember also they had a pool party there with dj on Saturday night. I shot them off an email to see if they still have that going. I'll let you know if they reply to me.
They told me they don't have dj every Saturday. Must be for special occasions.

Is there any early check in? At hennan prime? I’ll arrive 4 hours early. And hennan emails and websites don’t even respond
Most hotels will allow early check if that room is available. So you have to hope that the hotel is not fully booked. Guests can usually check out by 12 and then they have that 2 hour window to clean the room so it's ready for 2 pm check ins. My advise is just to try and maybe you'll be lucky! If not you can leave your bags and check the place out. They'll let you eat at their restaurant - just another way to get money out of you! 😆l

No they don't let you use other Hennan pools.

Why did u choose Regency over Palm?
As I mentioned in the video it was a toss up between the 2. But ultimately I went with Regency because it offered more. It's got more restaurants, the wave bar and Spa. I mean sure you can also be walk in to those restaurants as well. Idid like at palm how it's a bit newer and a great sky pool. Both are really great places! Ultimately it's up to yourself to what's more important to your stay.

There are some but you'll need to contact the resort for which ones.
What month did you visit boracay? Does it rained a lot?
I was there from late Feb till mid May. Last year the Philippines had more rain than usual.
Henann Park looks like condominium units.
only breakfast is include for each hotel? how about lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks?
The times I have booked breakfast was included but always check conditions when you book as they can change anytime. They don't include other meals. Sometimes when I have booked Henan's directly there has been an option to pay extra for the buffet dinner but that's all.
Speaking from experience, Palm Beach is better than the Regency. Regency is quite old. Palm Beach should come second.
I was tossing up between the two. But I liked how Regency had more to offer - like the number of different restaurants and a the cool wave bar by the beach. When you do top 10 list it's always subjective everyone has their opinion. In the end they are both are fantastic resorts.
which hennan has the best buffet?
In my opinion Palm then Regency and then Crystal Sands. They are all good though.

The only good thing about Crystal Sands is the amazing pool, the rooms are pretty poor compared to other Henanns and the balcony view is poor... henann palm beach in my opinion is better overall than this as the rooms are nicer and have nicer views and still has a sky pool, the inky better thing about Crystal sands is the pool but overall palm beach destroys this

I dont like Hennan.. They will nickel and dime you with everything. My stay with them is a disappointment. I will stay in Shangri-La next time.

Hi mate I'm coming to henann palm beach resort in october this year and I was wondering what it's like in october in boracay for how busy it is? I know it's not peak season but don't want to go if its going to be dead and deserted... Will there still be people around that time of year?
I haven't stayed that time of year. Being Boracay you won't find the place dead. It's always popular.
