- IPA Executive Director Daniel Wild says WA Senator Fatima Payman clearly thought about quitting the Labor Party for a "long period of time".
"It seems like it was something that was rehearsed and thought about for a long period of time," he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
"It is completely incompatible with representative democracy because your job as an elected member is to represent everybody in your constituency."
The failure of all Muslims worldwide to condemn the events of Oct 7, and even to justify the massacre, reflects on Islam.

This is the first time I have heard her speak and she sounds like she is a high school student. 1681 votes dose not mean your representing Australians. Religion should never be in politics. The resolution she was asked to support had a clause about recognizing a 2 state solution. This of course is the entire sticking point around why conflict has occurred since the 1940s. The Palestinian state 'constitution' says the State of Israel has no right to exist and Palestinians are expected to do their duty towards that end result and that is what Payman believes too.
