It depends. I go to a international middle school in Shanghai and the community is great. The education is fair and unbiased, and we learn things bilingually (except for Chinese or English class lol). But of course not EVERYBODY is great, of course there are some people who are not well mannered.
I can’t speak for every single international school in China tho. This is the situation in my case.

It’s pretty nice the international students community is really welcoming and the facilities are pretty new, the only thing is that if you’re studying undergraduate the campus is far from the city centre
