I always thought this accent was for some little places, happens that is Beijing 😂. Sounds like gangsters 😂Sichuan sounds like that imperial consorts trying to be cute to the king. Standard mandarin give vibes of a TV reporter.

I’m from Chongqing so I’m biased but having also learned other languages, I think the Sichuan’s toned down pinying is a lot easier for foreigners to pronounce than mandarin
