One bride recently took her wedding dress to a rather strange place: the gym. Samantha Burns, a couples therapist, started a tradition with her husband, Darren, on their first wedding anniversary. Each year, she dusts off her wedding gown and celebrates in style. "I never thought I'd be in the gym in my wedding dress," she told Inside Edition. "It's just such a special moment when I get to open this and see my dress. It reminds me of the celebration we had." #InsideEdition

Can I just say how lucky she is to still fit perfectly in her dress still!! Her weight must never change because of her working out. Most of us after having babies and such can't even fit a leg in ours lol

Absolutely! A fun and great idea...plus keeps her accountable to staying in good shape. I've been married 47 years and couldn't begin to fit in mine...sadly. She'll really being good to continue to wear it after birthing babies, menopause, life...etc.

I had my wedding gown for 2.5 years before I met my husband and another 1.5 years until we married. My nieces and nephews played in it before the wedding and my college roommate wore it so I could see what it looked like from behind and in photos. I wore it on our fifth anniversary and have had at least another ten children, five of my own, play in it since. In another year my granddaughter will be introduced to my now "play dress." It no longer fits me after having and carrying our five children until the youngest was aged nine. My upper body has grown with added muscle strength. It's yellow after 42 years, but still beautiful!

Honestly, I LOVED my prom dress. I haven't had an opportunity to wear it in the 5 years since I bought it (other than prom, obviously). I wish there were more occasions to wear dresses like that and wedding/prom dresses aren't cheap.. So screw it! If she's got the confidence, baby girl wear it wherever your little heart pleases!!

But seriously, you could suggest getting a cute cheap quinceañera dress online, or even modify it after so you can wear it again. I do get her point though since my quinceañera dress has just been sitting there in a closet inside a bag for 6 years now, maybe opting for a cute simple dress you can wear in more occasions is a better idea than having a big ballgown princess dress.

No way for me! I was 5'4" and weighed only 99#. No way was I going to be that skinny for the rest of my life especially after having five children in eight years and carrying them around until the youngest one was nine. My upper body strength grew tremendously so even when I was 115# it would not zip up past my bra line. Heck, I tore off and reroofed a house with my children's help when they were only 8-16. That takes muscles!!!
