I opened 2 Puck Drop Offer packs, first one pulled an 85, 2x84's and an 83 and second pack a 94 OVR TOTW Kucherov, an 85 and 2 83's. Best pack I opened this year, I just needed 3 Power Up collectibles to max out Drew Doughty's X Factor and ended up pulling a 94 OVR for my 3rd line and fodder for more collectibles.
@@DinoKrista I have the worst pack luck as far as the store front purchases and rewards, haven't pulled a purple since October. The only packs I have ever pulled anything good from are the trade in sets like the 99 and the Untradable Puck Drop offers.
@@DinoKrista The packs in NHL are not intended to build your lineup from, they are intended to provide currency to complete sets that you would use to upgrade your lineup. I don't like it.
Disappointing how little value somebody gets for spending $50 real money, above the cost of the game. Thanks. Great vid! P.s. matching your 82 overall team against a team with all 94’s is another fail by EA, imo.
What you get in packs should change as the game goes. There is no need for 82 in Feb 😕 It was okay in October. The player base isn’t big enough for to them to allow you play your ovr teams as matchmaking works against divisions not overalls unfortunately. I liked the video for video so need to make more experiments like this ✅
Here's what I learned: $50 is not enough to make a competitive team this late in the game's cycle. Sad. That's a lot of money for a team that you would spend a few weeks or maybe longer mostly losing with and trying to upgrade slowly, assuming you did not spend anymore. You could buy another complete game for that amount. Who wants to play a game where they spend $100+ dollars to start off just get kicked around for weeks until you throw more money at it? Not a lot of people. Not me. So the franchise stays small with only a niche player base, who are basically fans of the sport and NHL licensing.
Very good points. Don’t take me wrong, there are a lot of free cards to grind for and you can always play SB few weeks to get better team but it’s not exiting
Playing teams like this ? Play with 84/86 and EA tilt patern will do the job in Rivals. 83 Kopitar = 94 McDavid.... Fact. I found it easier to face DIV2 players with god squad than Div 3 with 84....
👍🏻👍🏻 “thank you shesterkin” 😂
Rangers always make me sad 😂

Let’s goo. Nice to see some pack luck! 💯 Maybe I will pull something good next week.

Trying my best!
What is the cartoon on the shelf in the back of the room?
The white one? It’s Mr Mets ( one of NY Mets mascots )
@@DinoKrista I thought it was a snork lol

$50 will, get you half a pack 😂
It actually don’t. It’s just mostly to show how bad packs are. In MLB $50 would allow you to have something but not in NHL
@@DinoKrista True. I had great pack luck later into the season in MLB

Which Division are you in
D1 ? D2 ?
D3
You could've did silver rerolls and maybe premium gold. With all those extra gold cards you got
It was more about just packs in store without doing anything else

This is very true but you still can feel that speed difference and shooting / hand stats unfortunately
