Thank you SO MUCH for this series, it has been a great help, I've really enjoyed it and love the idea of decorating for Winter as opposed to solely for Christmas. If you had time to do a video in January on how you achieve this it would be greatly appreciated ❤ January is always a bit of a downer for me after the buzz & cosiness of Christmas.
Thank you again for your great content & Happy Christmas to you & your family xx

Thanks so much for your lovely words and yes, I’ll have regular videos in January including one on keeping the cosy going! I’ll be aiming to do this topic as one of the first. A very merry Christmas to you and yours Lisa!

I was looking for some ideas to avoid another chaotic Christmas and this series has been perfect.
This year, the cards have been sent, the presents bought, though not wrapped, and a new outfit is in the wardrobe ready for events.
You have helped to make my Christmas joyful, so thank you very much 👏

I’m so glad you enjoyed it! That’s a great suggestion although maybe everyone’s gift shopping will be more or less complete by the time it airs? I have so many ideas for next year though and gift guides will definitely feature highly 🙌 Hope you continue to enjoy the channel and have a lovely Christmas!

Thank you for this series! Had I not been organized, COVID/hospital would have been even more challenging. As it is, my family has the paper plan (from the beginning) to pick up from where I was side-lined. You have been a long-distanced friend and helper. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. 🌲There does come a point of, it is enough and it is great.

I’m so, so sorry to hear you’ve been dealt such a challenging time. Thank goodness for family who are willing to step in and take the reins but of course the main thing is that you do whatever’s needed to help you recover. ‘There are no strangers here, only friends you haven’t yet met’ said Irish poet Yeats 100 years ago and I firmly believe that to be true. Wishing you a speedy recovery, so lovely to have you in my TH-cam community 🥰

Thanks again, Lynn, for this series. There are many voices on social media encouraging us to have a simplified Christmas, and while the idea appeals to me, the reality is that it does take some planning. Every year I tell myself that I want to have all of the gifts bought and wrapped by December 1st, and it never happens. 😂 I suppose my biggest fail is not that I can’t to get it done, but that I set myself an unrealistic goal in the first place. It takes time to figure out which gifts will truly be appreciated by each person. This series kept me on track, and while I still have a couple of gifts to pick up, and few gifts to wrap, I am where I want to be.
I am so pleased that you are thinking up new series for after Christmas. Christmas isn’t midwinter, where I live in Toronto, it is only the beginning of winter. It won’t be properly warm until May, so I need to find ways of embracing the season. Decorating for the season after Christmas sounds such a good idea. Last winter I helped myself by reading seasonally. I think it would be helpful to have some winter projects to look forward to. I do make marmalade in January, and if you have any other ideas winter projects, I would love to have a go at something with you!
I hope you and your family have a fantastic Christmas!

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this really valuable feedback, you’ve no idea how much I appreciate it. I can absolutely relate to your point about setting unrealistic goals and I’m also with you on the time it takes to figure out what gifts will truly be appreciated. I’d much rather spend the extra time finding a considered gift though than just buying any old thing. If I’ve got a plan then it helps guide me, even if I wander off piste now and again! I’ll definitely be looking to bring plenty of ‘winter projects’ to the channel in the new year. All the very best to you - have a lovely festive season!
