You speak Truth. I guarantee that doctor won't truly understand until her children are grown and she missed it. I see it so often as a teacher. One child in my class, when asked what would he do if he won the lottery (an imagination development lesson) said he'd buy their house so his Mum could stay home and play with him and just be with him. He had tears in his eyes. My heart just broke in that moment that a child so young would feel that bereft. But he's not the only one unfortunately. If a working woman can be there for the first five years of their child's life alone, what a change you would see in society as a whole! It cannot be emphasized enough how stabilizing, morality and confidence building it is to have a Mother in the home and a well run, orderly home with homemade meals and a hug at the door. Its good for the mind, the body and the soul. Well done you. You're building tomorrow. God bless you.

    I love this.
As a teen I never wanted this, never wanted to get married or have babies.
I’ve now been married for 4 years and have 4 babies, a big old farmhouse and land. All that to say, your videos have really been a huge encouragement to me while I desperately try to figure out how to be a good homemaker.

Looking forward to the future video talking about chronic illness and homemaking. I enjoyed the message in this video as well about the importance of homemaking. I can relate about cutting back on making videos and social media posting when taking care of my health and home always takes priority. ❤

I work in the medical field so I have to obtain patients information. Whenever I get a patient that says I’m just a homemaker. I’m like just? You have the hardest job in my opinion. So never say just! When I had my son and was home for 3months I literally had the hardest time. My family is many generations of single moms so always told u have to work a job to mean anything.

Viewer from India....such an organic, soothing, pleasant presentation !!
Your cocoon is your world...no rush, no fuss!!
You are good story teller Connects to my cousin who is an educated, smart home maker (she calls it her institute & she is the principal). It's a delight to visit her or have her around.
Fortunate to have a supportive partner as well.

I’m a new subscriber after watching this video. Thank you for sharing. I Love this and agree with your message on homemaking as acts of service to others. Our service is an opportunity to glorify God, in all we do. As homemakers we set the tone in our homes. All for Gods Glory. Even the hard parts. I too have a chronic illness and it’s refreshing to hear your story. It brings a uniqueness to your channel. I look forward to seeing more of your content in your videos. God Bless. 🙏🏽

I just found your channel. I would love for you to do a video on managing a home with chronic illness. I have rheumatoid arthritis and struggle with some aspects of homemaking. I have not found anyone doing home making videos with a disability.

Hi Kathye! I think you've left a similar comment before (on a previous video) about smiling. :) Am I the only one who doesn't smile when I'm in a room by myself, folding laundry or making the bed? It would feel kind of unnatural to just be standing in the room alone, smiling while I'm doing my chores!

In this video I didn't talk in front of the camera though. It was all just a voiceover.
